I live in Wilmington and I have to say that this is one of my two favorite locations to shop at because everyone is so great. This location is very well kept and clean and fully stocked. Every time I have an encounter with customer service it's very pleasant. There's a medical building right across the street from this location so it was easy for me to to just go ahead and shop for my items while I'm in the area and return home. The location is great as well because it's right off of 273 (practically on it)

They didnt have what i needed so I tried to leave the store without buying anything and every exit was gated. i shouldnt have to ask an associate to leave a store just because i didnt buy something first.

The bakery is amazing!!! The cake decorator does an awesome job always!! Even the person who takes the order she is good at helping you decide on what would be best for your theme! I need to get their names!! The cakes are delicious and reasonable! I come here all the time and will continue to do so! Here are some of the cakes they have done for me...

Great time shopping at this Acme Market at the University Plaza. It reminds me of my Acme on Naamans Road in Claymont Delaware. Great people and east to find what We where shopping for.

Old lady at money order counter was rude. And ultra slow with her work. She better learn manners and work on her facial expressions. Help customer instead of get annoyed easily. I waited patiently until she was rude.

The amount of rude comments or harassment done by your female employees is shocking.. very disrespectful and rude.. i am not shopping here again and will take my business somewhere else, it is a constant thing, it is shocking to see middle aged women act like children.. should teach your employees how to respect and be kind to others, not that hard to do.. be kind, NOT mean..
ps. the lady with a black hat who works the self checkout is VERY rude and her demeanor is horrible.. she is frightening and needs to be talked to about how to treat customers with respect..
to add: it is more than one person, it is SEVERAL of your employees very disrepsectful toward shoppers especially in the morning.. 75.. you have NOT spoken to your women employees about their atttiudes.. scary i will never be returning to your stores your employees should be trained on being KIND ..2

The older woman working the self checkout today (May 24th) around 2:30pm was racially profiling her customers. I watched her examine the receipts and cart of two black women, at first I thought that was just a normal policy. After they left, an elderly white couple offered their receipt to her to which she said “No, I know who to trust.” I am deeply disturbed by this and the manager had no interest in hearing my concerns, this is not the first complaint. Apparently ACME is just okay with employing racists.
She was overall very rude to me as well, she wouldn’t allow me to scan my receipt and then got annoyed when I walked through anyway. The other self checkout employees are always very nice and helpful but it’s not worth it to shop here anymore when anyone treats customers this way.

Cashier did not look happy to be there. They charge for bags and they are extremely expensive.

You guys are acme need to either AUDIT or GET RID of the morning manager Merna or Morna, I forget her name but it’s close enough. I went in for a money order and this Asian couple was in front of me… they show her a coupon of baby formula on their phone which she walked past and totally ignored. THEN, she gets the baby formula from I’m assuming a locked case and DUMPS it in their cart.
I was so disgusted by her handling and attitude that I had to say something because that is not how you treat paying customers. INVESTIGATE HER!
