Employees are great and always helpful. The people at the deli always cut your deli meat right and with care. Place is clean including their bathrooms.

Shopping in this place 20 years and newer have rude customer service like this morning.Going on that store when is not even being Acme. Customer service are worst now even with us doing cashiers job.

They didn't have the evercrisp apples programmed into the system, so I couldn't use my clipped coupon.

What else is there to say about this location, it is an Acme Market, it appears very similar to other locations that I have been in, and also appears similar to other stores owned by the parent company, such as Albertson's, Safeway, and other prominent stores in the umbrella.
This location's only rela difference is the ample amount of Tastykake, Herr's, and Utz products that they manage to sell, as an individual who used to reside in this arra, I am overwhelmed by the diversity of options that they sell at this store, as it brings joy, but also confusion. Additionally, it is the closest location to the University of Delaware, and was formerly the Kmart location in Newark that served students for nearly 35 years.

Over prices. Buy one get one free isn't a deal when they raise the price of the 1st one hate digital coupons. Phone reception is lousy when in the store. I don't like that they guard the bags and charge for them. Don't like that they solicit donations on ever transaction. I'm sure they get a huge write-off

Gigantic fairly well stocked..as of 6/4 gotta say the store and staffing are really terrific
Really impressed with all the updates and great changes going on in every isle. As of 7/20 the self service checkout is awesome.
8/12 some pics outside since so many inside, Acme must have known how quickly this area called "The Grove" would develop and the progress since last year is awesome. The walk and dine area is growing quickly and I'd bet within a month or two another eatery or two will celebrate Grand Openings. (more to follow)

I've never been impressed with Acme. Their prices are way too high and all the produce I've gotten here is questionable, at best. The only reason I generally shop there is something urgent since they're on my commute or because they have the Soda Stream CO2.
And that brings me to this morning when I went in to swap out my CO2. Two different people told me that the customer service desk wasn't open at 7:30 in the morning. Not waiting a moment for the manager on duty or anything else. Just closed.
What a waste of time. If I had anywhere else convenient to grab those tanks, I would. Acme is not worth shopping.
