Staff was great until my mom saw Dr alfieri directly who repeatedly called her fat and lazy. Also insulted her career saying "well I guess you don't pay taxes and just make cash" You embarrassed your staff who repeatedly apologized on your behalf Dr. but you should NEVER EVER be allowed to talk to anyone the way you did regardless if they "interrupted your lunch". By the way his only medical advice was a medication switch and working out When the whole reason my mom needed to see you is when she exerts herself she passes out. Thanks for making my mom cry Dr. you should be ashamed of yourself.

RUN away from this doctor as fast a you can because you won't be able to run if you let him treat you!!! I purchased a Groupon for sclerotherapy and when I went for the treatment, I was told I neededa consult with a doctor. Anthony Alfieri examined me and told me that the sclerotherapy wouldn't help at all unless I first had vein reflux surgery. A technician performed a vein study at his Newark office and I later had very expensive reflux surgeries on both legs which resulted in more pain, more swelling and less blood flow than prior to the surgeries. Additionally, the sclerotherapy that he did, was rushed, careless and sloppy and my spider veins are 100% worse than before. I scheduled 2 follow up appointments with him about the problems I was having but all he did was dismiss me, ignore me and show me his abs (that's right, the height of unprofessionalism). Later I received bills for the follow-up visits and nothing was every resolved. There are tons of similar stories on the internet about this "Doctor" and a nurse practitioner friend says he is In known as "The Worst of the Worst". His brother who is reputable has cut professional ties with him... and that is very telling.

Dr Anthony Alfieri saved my life in 2006. I had a widow maker in Elkton, Md. Was transferred to Christiana. I had stents in and have been good ever since. I was in the ambulance and woke up at the hospital. Things were different, I had to adjust to everything. I felt like I was gone for weeks. Things were different, but everyone needs to believe in God, he is real and don't be in any hurry to meet him. I was different after that, but the peaceful calm I had was unreal. It was a beautiful feeling. And getting to know my family was an experience...Love them all. God is awesome...

My mom had several tests done, which they send you to their Newark site for. During her pharmacologically induced stress test, the staff made me leave (this is during COVID). I told them I'm her interpreter, but they said they have a tablet they used, didn't ask me for our language, took down my contact info and sent me on my way. They called me to ask me what language I speak (Cantonese), but apparently they got her another interpreter (Mandarin). When that didn't work out, they had my mom call me and put me on speaker, which she does not know how to do. While on speaker, I hear huffing and puffing, "OMG's" and them making fun of my mom "grandma purse". It was absolutely unprofessional. When they no longer needed my service, we hung up. I eventually picked her up, but a few days later my mom confessed that the girl who was being rude over the phone had ripped her EKG leads off of her FROM ACROSS THE ROOM. She missed some, and when my mom pointed it out, the girl told her to take care of it herself. Now, I don't know if that's how they treat all their elderly population, because my doctors are with the VA, or did they mistreat her knowing that she doesn't know English, so she can't complain or stand up for herself. I called, made my complaint, was told the manager will contact me by the end of the week and never heard from anyone again.

I went to Dr. Anthony Alfieri to see if he could make my awful spider veins go away. Guess what, he was awesome. They are practically invisible! There was only a slight amount of pain involved, and it was so quick! I recommend making an appointment right away! Not expensive at all.
