American Van and Storage was so good to us! We had an emergency and needed all of the items moved out of our house quickly and they were wonderful. They carefully packed things, were very professional and neat. They then stored our things for 2 years and it was all kept in perfect condition. Redelivery was easy to schedule and flexible. Would absolutely use them again and recommend to friends.

A friend recommended American Van & Storage to me after he had a positive experience with his move.
I reached out to them and arranged to have them do my move as well.
Everything went extremely well with my move. The guys showed up early and went right to work. It was a long, hard day for me and they were the ones doing all the work.
They were very careful in moving things, very hard working, respectful, and used their time wisely. Overall it was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend American Van & Storage to others.

Many lies and deceit for services paid for in advance. In my humble opinion, the moving staff should not be trusted with your valuables. We moved in Nov 2024 and we are still opening boxes with broken items. We called the claims office only to find out because we have already been paid $102 for our $1700 television we are unable to add items or open a new claim. We originally paid $98 for a TV box that the moving crew forgot to bring the day of the move but moved the TV anyway. The lack of professionalism throughout this process still has me shaking my head on how this business can still be in existence. I can’t imagine this is a one off situation.
Please do yourself a favor & move on to the next. It’s not worth the headache & your property deserves much better service. I wouldn’t use them again if the service was free.

We had such a wonderful experience working with American Van & Storage. Sometimes it is difficult to know where to begin, but they make it so easy. Between setting up the initial appointment, schedule a date, communication with the staff in regards to the details of the process & the paperwork, and then the "actual move" itself, everything went perfectly from start to finish. But I think what we appreciated the most about this amazing group were ALL such down-to-earth, hardworking people; it felt like family. Needless to say, we would absolutely recommend American Van & Storage to anyone planning to relocate.

They went above and beyond what is expected. We had our furniture in storage while waiting for our apartment to be ready. My husband is handicapped and requires a lift chair. The cost of transporting one lift chair to the hotel was formidable. Corey investigated medical equipment rental companies in Virginia Beach. We were able to rent the chair for our month's stay at the hotel, very reasonably. This is truly a full service company!
All of the gentlemen who helped us pack, move, and unpack were very helpful. We could not ask for more.

Would not come out to stimate my move because i already have stimated with other companies?? On my opinion Thats not bussiness at all. recomendation to everyone dont tell them you've already stimated with another moving company. Tell them their the first they want to feel #1

I have moved 5 times before this and this was by far the least stressful. They were on time, careful with my furniture and left no marks when they moved me into my new home. Absolutely no issues, highly recommend.
