Camp Bow Wow is a great place for our dogs, they love to go. Staff is knowledgeable and easy to work with.
The price is ok but have not compared. It would be nice to get a little discount if you have more than one pooch going for services.

Once we walk through the dooors of camp bow wow, I'm suddenly irrelevant. Dad.. Who? This is the only really great boarding experience we've ever had. Rosie is safe, gets socialized AND the best part is, you can watch them via yard camera on the app. They also exist almost everywhere. I'd say you can't put a price on peace of mind but you can (whispers) and it's affordable...

My dog Charlie really enjoys the day camp. He is excited to go and comes home tired from a long day of play. The staff is extremely friendly. They are patient and answer all my questions as I am a new puppy owner. I would highly recommend them.

Day daycare in visible pens with supervision, and a bath and brush out. Great safe doggy daycare interaction plus they look great on pick up. Prices and small things charged for that were not previously, but I guess that's the real world. Always a pleasant staff.

My little Sammy passed away back in July 2024. He was about 14 years old. Recently I found a folder in my mom’s room of when he visited Camp Bow Wow about ten years ago. There were pictures and comments the staff wrote. Looking thru the folder really brought me to tears. From the comments, I can tell Sammy really loved his visits.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Camp Bow Wow. I boarded my dogs for the weekend and, as I’ve done before, requested a bath prior to pickup on Sunday. In the past, baths were always done Sunday morning before I picked them up. On Saturday evening, I realized my dogs would be boarded again later in the week, so I called after hours to cancel the Sunday bath. The next morning, I received a call informing me that their baths had already been done on Saturday—without my knowledge or consent.
When I asked why the bath was done in the middle of their stay, I was met with rudeness and complete disregard by Lex, a staff member. I was told there was a “waitlist” for baths, something I was never informed about. Had I known, I would have declined the service. Instead, this meant my dogs were kenneled for most of their stay, which defeats the purpose of paying for them to be able to play with other dogs.
As a veterinarian, I know how critical transparency and communication are when it comes to people and their pets. Pet parents trust boarding facilities to not only care for their animals but to be upfront about policies that affect their wellbeing. Unfortunately, when I voiced these concerns, Lex disregarded my concerns and shifted the blame to me because “I was the one who requested the bath in the first place and called after hours”. I was also told “they didn’t need my business”. I then reached out to the owner to discuss this terrible and very concerning interaction, only to be dismissed, interrupted, and offered no resolution for the $120 I spent on baths—especially frustrating since my dogs still came home smelling like straight urine. The owner showed no concern or accountability, which is incredibly disappointing.
This level of unprofessionalism, lack of transparency, and disregard for both pets and clients is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend Camp Bow Wow to anyone who expects respect, honesty, and proper care for their animals.

Camp Bow Wow Delaware North is run by experienced people who truly care about the dogs. The indoor/outdoor facility is modern, extremely clean, and has roomy "cabins" for overnight stays. The grooming staff, particularly Michelle, do a wonderful job with our dog, Maggie, who is old and a bit feeble. Their caring attitude is comforting. All of the staff we have come in contact with (which is many) offer wonderful customer service. I can't imagine a facility and staff that could do a better more reassuring job. I'm constantly impressed.
