“We're a family. I was always a lone wolf with a lot of issues but this is a beautiful church with a lot of really great people. We all have the power to be heroes, and going to church is an important place to start. Every relationship with the lord is unique, and you should take it with you everywhere you go. That Beautiful book is so much more important than most think. God bless you all.”

“Converted to the Catholic faith through this parish: absolutely lovely priests, clergy, and fellow parishioners. Exterior had an overhang addition put up this summer (very speedily!) for those pulling up for handicapped people.Interior has one of the nicest blends b/w modern and traditional Catholic churches I have seen in the Hockessin/Newark region.A great place for new discerning Catholics and Christians to come and find the faith.(I only wish this parish used incense and bells more during masses in Ordinary time, rather than strictly for special occasions or Holy Days. Otherwise, a really great parish!)”

“It is a very serene and beautiful place. Every Sunday, Sri Krishna kirtan and discussion take place followed by prasadam, which you can enjoy in its backyard. The place is in the process of building up. You will find positive energy entering you when you visit this place.”

“At this time when I am making some noticeable changes in my life, the congregation and flock are all the more helping me to commit to these changes with their friendliness and empathy. I especially like Pastor Jessie. It is a shame that I cannot attend his men's Bible study due to other commitments that I have during that time frame. Maybe a 2nd weekly session will eventually open at an available time frame.”

“I was invited to visit Victory Christian Fellowship. I have not visited this ministry in over 20 years. Not much has changed, new faces same vibe. This ministry has been consistently 80% black, and 20% other nationalities. The Overseer and Founder Pastor Emeritus Gary Whetstone, video message was played to the congregants, prior to his daughter, current leadership Pastor Laurie Whetstone-Idahosa message. There are several Humanitarian and Evangelism efforts that take place here, Daughters of Esther, Marriage ministry, Singles ministry, Celebrate Recovery, Youth and Kids, Media & Arts and Heart for Humanity that distributes food to those in need. There are a plethora of activities, that meet the spiritual as well as the natural. Where ever you are in life, you will not feel left out or isolated.Additionally, they have added Zoom sessions for the sick and shut in, or those too far away to attend in person meetings. This ministry has been a stable solid melting pot in the First State for decades.”
