Your customer service is very bad.On January 31, I changed my zelle number to PNC Bank. Pnc has the information on file. Today, Feb2, I had someone send me money through Zelle using the same mobile number. It was deposited in Citizen Bank the account I changed. They stated to me that it was deposited 1:09pm and number deactivated (changed) at 1:10pm. I waited on the phone for hour for a representative that put me on hold to come back and tell me this information. She claimed it was not an hour it was 57 minutes. And since my account was already overdrawn (with fees) that there was nothing they could do. And on their end it says this. I advised her that it was changed and for them to send me the documents she said she could not. I also said I needed the exculation department they said there was none. She also if you want to speak with a supervisor it is another 45 minute wait. Citizen has charged me fees after fees and I have no money to buy food or pay for anything. So I had someone send to a new account that I opened 2 weeks ago. Now Citizen has claimed that money as well. They are doing some type of fraudulent activities and do not care about their customers

Worst bank ever!! My father is 100 years old, I have POA and am the trustee of his trust. I have provided all the the information and documents that they have requested and they still refuse to give me access to the accounts. I have been to 3 different branches and spoken to the main office. So now I have four sets of conflicting information, non of which makes sense. They will now have to deal with my lawyer.

Be careful not to get scammed. In fact, it is best just to avoid this branch.

Lauren was so sweet and fast. While waiting for my new debt card, she chatted and made me feel very welcome in the branch. If I have any issues while I'm staying in Delaware I will go visit her!

Had a VERY bad experience with this bank. Would give zero stars if I could. A year ago (April 2020) after my father died, I helped get all of my parents' joint accounts into my mother's name alone. My 83 year old disabled mom and I went into this Citizens Bank branch. It took 3 hours to change a checking account and a couple of CDs. During that long process, our banker seemed to be spending quite a bit of time in the other room socializing with the other staff. We added 4 beneficiaries (mom's 4 children) to all of her accounts. Fast forward to a month later, we get a statement in the mail It has only TWO beneficiaries listed. I immediately call our banker. He says, 'Don't worry! That's just a limitation of the template of the bank statements! They only have room for two names, but I see all 4 on the screen! You're all set!' Fast forward another year (May 2021). My mom has passed away. My siblings and I contact Citizens Bank. You guessed it - there were only TWO of the 4 beneficiaries on the account. Not only was our Citizens Banker incompetent, he flat out lied to me. Disgraceful service. I would never trust a dime of my money with Citizens Bank.

This bank does not stand for the customer. I used my card at a restaurant in NY and the waitress came back and told me my card wasn't reading. I paid cash and left the restaurant. A few days later i noticed $160 missing from my account and called the bank. They told me it was from the restaurant. I told them i paid cash but i didn't have the receipt that i paid cash because a few days had passed. They opened a claim a the money was back in my account a week later. 3 weeks down the road the same money was taken out of my account. I called the bank and was told i should've received a letter in the mail stating they they would need proof of cash payment. I never received this letter. The claim was reversed and I'm out of $160. My thing is why would they open the claim which the representative clearly asked and i clearly told the them i had not had the receipt that i paid cash. Second as the banks customer why would you ask me for proof but not ask the MERCHANT for proof that i paid with a card. The merchant would need to provide a signed receipt or show that it was debited from my card. When argued this with the bank. I was told that they were sorry and to have a nice day.

I am a teacher of the visually impaired. I was taking a student on a trip here to make a withdrawal. The staff was quite helpful. They gave sufficient verbal directions to my student. He was able to be self-sufficient without me having to intervene.
