I had a really positive experience at the Costco Tire Center, especially thanks to the manager, Terrell. The store is extremely busy—even on weekdays—and it’s clear they’re likely short-staffed, so it’s important to adjust expectations a little bit. That being said, the entire team works hard to help every customer, and Terrell really stands out.
I had an issue with my car and he personally stepped in, hands-on, to make sure I was taken care of. You can tell he genuinely cares about customers and wants to resolve problems the right way. It’s rare to see that level of dedication and leadership in such a hectic environment.
Huge thanks to Terrell and his team for going above and beyond—I truly appreciate it!

I don't understand why it takes 3 hours for a tire rotation - and that is with an appointment! It's never the hour to hour and a half they estimate.

Never ever again!!! Took was told 90 minutes for my appointment. Took over 3 hours. My car was finished 20 minutes before they told me!!!

It's no surprise that this place has a 3.3 rating. While some employees act professionally, others are quite unprofessional. Additionally, they scratched my wheels and appeared to be searching my car unnecessarily, almost as if they were looking for something to steal. It feels like a sketchy place to get new tires. What seems cheap can be quite expensive.

I changed tires and they called me after 25 miles drove, went tire center showed the paper in reception guy told someone will be there very soon, waited long time no one came. Frequently visited reception same answer.. Frustrated..
I talked multiple people but did not care.. one lady came herself told as Tire center Manager, provided my situation but did not get good response.. did not care customer..
Not sure to whom for they work…

It really takes a lot of planning to make purchasing tires from here work in your favor but if you have patience, it can be finally savvy.
I bought tires here in November 2022. If you are Sabi and can figure things out ordering online will be your best bet. If you’re not too sure, just go in the store with a photo of the numbers on your tire and make sure you know what kind of car along with trim you have.
I got my tires in about five days from ordering . They have them installed in about an hour.
What makes my rating stand out so high? Fast forward to June 2024, I end up running over a nail and a switchblade, causing an air leak. I didn’t realize this until I took it in and they put it up on the lift. They swiftly put on the donut I had, and I got a quick crash course of how replacement tire would work.
Remember, they do not typically carry most tires in the store, and you will have to wait a few days for them to come in .
The biggest thing to remember … with their current policy depending on how much tread you have left on the damage to tire, they can give you a prorated discount towards a replacement tire. Remember, this is case by case, and the tech will explain it to you. My $417 tire replacement came down to about 130 bucks.
Once my tire came in, they were prompt to call me, and I came right in and had it swapped out in about an hour.
The free rotations and nitro top off are a nice added touch, especially as rotations can be expensive at a dealer.
If you live close to this tire center or any of the Costco tire centers, consider buying your tires here for peace of mind. I have every plan to buy my next set here as well.

Costco tires can not take certain lug nuts off. I purchased 4 tires which included installation. They told me the lug nuts were on too tight and they did not have the ability to install my tires. I took my tires to my local mechanic who installed them with no problem. Sad a Costco tire installer can’t install tires. I am out $125 and Costco will not credit or reimburse me. Buyer be aware of their serious limitations. Won’t make this mistake again and will spread this news.
