It took me years to find a knowledgeable, reliable AND honest mechanic for my 94 honda accord. Eldred assured me that he could resolve the no start issue and he did. Also looked over the whole car and let me know what I would need in the future. It’s like the honda service center without the inflated cost. And they won’t turn your old car away like some shops in the area did.
Towed it there. Drove it back home with no problems.

I have been living in Delaware for 25 years and have been overcharged and ripped off repeatedly by mechanics the whole time. It took me this long to finally find an honest, fair and talented mechanic. Eldred does amazing work for a reasonable price and he does it quickly. He's just a genuinely good dude. Customer for life!

Awesome Service – Definitely Recommend!
Had a really great experience with Dred Automotive Service. I needed my rear bearings replaced, and they got me in right away—even stayed late so I could come in after work, which I really appreciated. They finished the job in just over an hour, and the price was super fair. Everyone there was polite, honest, and easy to talk to. It’s not every day you find a place that’s this reliable, trustworthy and friendly. I’ll definitely be going back next time I need work done!

I've always had bad experiences with auto shops telling me a simple repair would cost an arm and a leg, but Dred was amazing from start to finish. He provided excellent customer service, and booking an appointment with him was super easy. I had a tight schedule, and I was able to drop my car off overnight so the repairs could be completed in the morning.
I already knew I needed my front brake pads and rotors replaced, along with a new windshield washer fluid container. When I returned to pick up my car after an oil change, Dred already had a full understanding of everything that needed to be done. His rates are reasonable, and I won’t take my car anywhere else for service.
The cherry on top? Dred set a reminder in my car to alert me when it’s time for my next oil change. I didn’t even know that was possible. Guys, I’m just a girl. I also had an issue with my gear shift, and he fixed it at no charge. The entire experience was a 10/10.

If you want an honest practitioner, excellent service, exceptional work, and a genuinely great person, then you should go to Dread Auto! I had five different codes come up on my car and Eldred was able to get me in within a couple of days. He took care of everything and talked me through the process of what he was going to do, explained to me what was happening during the process (while I was waiting), and showed me the work after I had finished. I appreciated the waiting room, even though he suggested a drop off (which I couldn’t do).
I have a ‘21 Accord with >100K miles. He used Honda parts & goods on my car.
This will be the place where I go from now on. I’ll recommend Dred Auto to everyone I know.

Beyond 5 stars, had a really good experience taking my car to Dred auto services. He kept me inform of everything my car needed. After other mechanics gave me misleading information about what my car actually needed, I’m thankful I found this shop.Will definitely be my go to mechanic in the future for any work my car needs. & I made sure my friends and family knew that if they needed anything done to give him a call.

Made an original review but I don’t feel like I used enough words to truly express how good of an experience I’ve had with Dred.Absolutely hands down the best experiences I’ve had ( especially being a female dealing with car troubles, and my fellow ladies will understand) I was absolutely blown away with how the shop helped, and was so kind to me. Went above and beyond to help me out. 5 stars aren’t even enough to rate this shop. 10/10 Have found my go to shop!

Nothing but good things to say!! Towed my car there Monday afternoon, diagnosis & fixed by Tuesday night!! The owner even stayed late so I could pick it up! I highly recommend reaching out to them if you need any vehicle repairs!! Thank you for such great service!!

I am absolutely blown away by the service I received today at Dred Auto Services. I have had some bad experiences in the past with being taken advantage of by different mechanics and even the dealership and today I 100% received 5 star service. I called to see when the soonest appointment was and the owner told me he could help me right now if I was able to bring my car in. I drove right over, was quoted a very reasonable price and he got started right away. The owner even stayed after closing to finish up my car. Instantly when leaving I noticed an immediate difference in my car meaning the work he did was top notch and the parts came with a lifetime warranty. I would 100% recommend Dred Auto Service for anyone looking for an honest and dependable mechanic! Thank you !

New in the area I had to look for a good mechanic. I searched for one with good reviews and picked Dred Auto Service. I was so impressed with the quality service and affordable price. Dred was able to fix the issue after a mechanic told me the noise was coming from the transmission and I need new car. I’m not a mechanic and told him it can’t be. I had no issue with the transmission and noise is coming from the front right side. I even pointed out that the noise like the wheel bearing. He denied that and told me that I need a new car and got fee to tell me the wrong thing. A previous mechanic told me the caliber. Dred replaced the wheel bearing and got me back on the road with no issue. It’s hard nowadays to find good knowledgeable mechanics. If you need your car to be fixed right without wasting money and time go to Dred Auto Service. I was glad I did and reviews matters. More than 5***** for Dred and I will refer him for anyone needs his car fixed. Thanks a lot for everything Dred.
