If I could could I would only give 0.5 stars. Went to this store with full intention of buying two major appliances. Walked around for about 15-20 mins, multiple staff walked by and didn't even acknowledge me. Not your department, cool, I get it but it was pretty obvious I was looking for help and not even the mention of "hey let me see if someone is around" after looking at me several times. Nope, instead I called the customer service desk while standing in the appliance section only to be told the appliances person was on break. Soo there is only one person in your entire store who can help???? Absolutely terrible service .

I paid for delivery gas range and installation kit. they didn't bring the installation kit. They could deliver 3 weeks later. they suggested I go back to the store and they could get it quicker. I went to the store and explained the situation to a manager. The manager said why are here? I said because I ordered it here. No, why are you in front of me specifically. she also said not my problem, and I dont have time for this. now I have an oven I can't use during Christmas.

We were supposed to have new appliances delivered Nov 30 and they never showed up. No one knew why or where the appliances were. Home Depot Customer Care spent days on the phone with me and the delivery company. Once they were located, the delivery was rescheduled for today, Dec 14th and again no appliances and no call. So now they’ve decided they will deliver them on the 26th. The delivery companies that Home Depot uses have absolutely the most unprofessional and incompetent people I have ever had to do business with working for them. Definitely would not recommend ordering anything that requires delivery from this company.

The thing I love about Home Depot is that they pretty much have everything you are looking for the part it probably dose not affect many people but it dose not accept Apple Pay which is a big bummer the way I new is No Where in the store they had a Apple Pay accepted here because there was no Apple Pay sticker.

Several of your employees walked passed us while we were in your flooring department but not one asked if we needed help. After finally finding a person that worked in that department the help was pretty minimal. This is not our first unsatisfied visit to this location. Needless to say we purchased flooring elsewhere.

On 8/23/18, the first day of the Labor Day Sale I purchased the Maytag Suite and was billed incorrectly. When I purchased the appliances, the sales person took me over to customer service counter to charge me, the customer service representative at the counter acted annoyed and was eating peanuts and never stop through the first attempt of charging me the special. I should have stop and walk out at that moment. I didn't feel like a customer, I felt like I was bothering them. The keep having problems with getting to the sale price of the items, and call the assistant manager over then the store manager and over an hour later they got the number to match the sale price of $2,598. I later found that the Home Depot Web Site had the exact breakdown of the promotion and they invoiced me incorrectly. Here is the breakdown of the proper billing, (which was posted on the Home Depot Web Site for Labor Day Promotion): Dishwasher - $477.90 Refrigerator - $1,97.60 Electric Range - $598.50 Mircowave - $208 Sub Total - $2782 Minus $184 Discount Total - $2,598 I was charged the following which calculated to the same total. Dishwasher - $413.50 Refrigerator - $1,546.50 Electric Range - $547.50 Mircowave - $90.50 Total - $2,598 In addition, there was installation and parts for these items of $249.94 I did not take delivery of the Microwave, due to it being too big to fit the space in my kitchen. When the items were being delivered, I called Home Depot and they said that I would be credited for the item and the installation charge. Based on the correct billing, I should receive the following credit. Microwave $208 Microwave Installation $99 Total Credit Due $307 I never received a credit so on 9/12/18 I call the Home Depot Store and went over all this with Chase in the appliance department and he had to check with the store manager to get the $307 authorized due to the Original Invoice being incorrect. He called me back later that day and said it was approved by his manager and I would get the $307 credit. On the morning of 9/13/18 I received a call from Sherry that I would be receiving a $198 credit. Again, I went through the explanation of how I was supposed to be charge and how I actual was. Also, I explained to her my disappointment with the whole experience and the amount of time spent on this purchase. I asked her to check with Chase and that he had received approval from his manager to credit me the $307. Later that afternoon she called me back and said that they were not going to give me the $307 credit. I asked if she ever talked to Chase and she said no. She said they should actually be charging more, since I didn't take delivery of the Microwave. I explained to her that I called Home Depot at the time of delivery and ask them what my options were and was told I would get the credit for the Microwave and Installation. In addition to this purchase I have a $15,000 cabinet order and $2,000 carpet order that I am now cancelling. I can't believe how unprofessional the staff is and how this whole experience was and how they don't know how to correctly charge for their own sales promotion or how to provide a proper credit. Then one person tells you that have a credit approved and another person says you should be being charged more. I will be going to Lowes from now on.

We purchased a kitchen and when the cabinets were delivered they had many defects from the manufacturer. Half the cabinets were replaced and the rest had new door and drawer fronts shipped. There were two other orders that came with defects from the factory. Very poor quality controls. Very poor follow-up from the cabinet rep. There was also one order with incorrect parts. This tied us up for two months and we started the process over with Lowes. It also tied up our garage for storage. I had to take time off numerous times for deliveries, site visits, etc.

Today was told would not accept my military id. at Suburban Plaza. Said because was not injured! Other Home Depot no problem. Never again. Went elsewhere. Why ok in some stores and not others. Can't deal with the yes/no/maybe so. Good thing not only show in town! Thank you Lowe's for honoring ALL those that served!

I was just at Home Depo to buy a door. I brought two up to the desk to ask a question. I stopped an employee and he said “No my department I'll call someone for youâ€. After waiting an additional 15 minuets with no help I left a note on the doors saying going to Lowe's.

I would say this Home Depot is patchy. Some extremely helpful staff members, and more than a few pretty terrible ones. Definitely beware of bad/entitled attitudes. One time I asked if they had any catalogues of the bathtubs I could look at since the online pictures are difficult to decipher and her only answer was a rather rude "no." Really? Well f$&k it I found a better one through Lowe's as well as a toilet and vanity. They were way nicer and all those box stores have the same stuff. I could name names of rude employees but they probably need to hold onto their crap jobs to pay off drinking habits. Beware of Bill in the Pro Department tho, he is arrogant, half-informed, and kind of rapey. Made me extremely uncomfortable on several occasions. I will not be back despite some very excellent employees. The Do It Best hardware store in Elkton is my go-to unless I absolutely need something at the HD.

Let me start with the nice part. The lady at the resister who was really friendly and helpful. Then the bad and the ugly. An older gentlemen employee wearing a team caption badge in the plumber isle, gave me a huge eye roll when I asked him to rethread an end to a pipe I was purchasing. Then begrudgingly he took the pipe and announced that he got paid no matter what he did. In the end he tried to thread the pipe and announced that a part was broken on the machine. I went to the Home Depot in Christiana the next day and had a great experience getting the same item.
