I had my Nissan 370z towed here after the CSC had failed. We had some issues sourcing parts for the Z1 CSC Elimination Kit v2, but Hok was able to pull some strings and get me parts nearly a month earlier than expected because of his relationship with Z1. He also installed a Z1 CAI for me for a very reasonable price. I'm very pleased with the service I received here and would recommend them for anyone looking for a knowledgeable JDM performance shop.

I was recommended to this shop. My first experience with them was fine, but my second visit was filled with issues and serious concerns.
For this second job, I brought my own parts and clearly explained the problem with my vehicle. The repair involved my lower control arm and the bolts that secure it. I was assured by the shop that they could complete the job without issue.
After they completed the work, I later went to a different location to get a wheel alignment. That’s when I learned there was a major problem. The screws and bolts for my lower control arm had not been installed correctly — they were in the wrong places and one bolt was not even secured into its proper position. I have photographs showing that the screw was not properly seated in the bolt hole because the wrong part had been used. This improper installation could have caused a serious safety hazard, potentially putting me and my children in danger if the part failed while driving. Because of this, the alignment shop could not perform the wheel alignment.
I immediately went back to the original shop, showed the owner the pictures, and explained the safety issue. Since he was with other customers, we spoke privately, and he assured me that once I obtained the correct part, he would properly fix the issue. This conversation happened on a Friday.
By Monday, however, I learned that the owner would be gone for the week. I spoke with one of his employees, explained the situation again, and was told that if another part broke during the repair process, I would be responsible for paying for it. I was shocked — I had already paid for a service that was not done properly and did not understand why I should be responsible for additional costs.
The owner was contacted, and we had a conversation that went nowhere. He claimed that they installed the part I had brought them. My concern — and confusion — was that as a professional mechanic, he should have recognized that the part did not fit correctly and informed me before attempting to “force fit” it. That decision could have resulted in a dangerous failure. The owner stated that the repair could be fixed correctly — but only if I paid more money. I refused and contacted the authorities.
I understand that my vehicle is my responsibility, but this situation is unacceptable. If anyone chooses to use this shop, I strongly recommend that you inspect your vehicle carefully afterward to ensure your parts are installed correctly. A mistake like this is not just an inconvenience — it’s a serious safety issue.

I visited the J-Tune Performance store in Delaware last November and picked up a Mishimoto performance intercooler and a Turbosmart BOV for my Škoda Octavia VRS. Hok was super helpful and made the whole process smooth. Got the parts delivered even before the timeline they gave me! I live in India and drag race my car and since the upgrade, we’ve won 5 trophies. Huge thanks to the J-tune team for the great service and quality parts!

I've been coming to this shop for years, from maintenance to modifications/tune. Everyone there has always been professional/polite and they always do a great job. They've always been quick to respond emails, but they've implemented a new communications/scheduling system that made it even better. Glad to have found this business in Delaware!

Awesome and reliable shop. Great team, respectable and work on your car at a reasonable amount of time. Very fair and reasonable prices to work on your vehicle; since I found this guys this is the only place where I take my vehicle for maintenance now.

I know this review is long but this is my personal experience with J-Tune Performance. I have a 2002 VW beetle turbo S and I was looking for a trustworthy shop to do some work on my car.. my beetle is my BABY! So finding a shop to trust to do work on my car was highly important. Came across a few companies but ultimately went with this company. I was reading the reviews about this company and seen a lot of positive feedback. I call this company to schedule the appointment and the owner HAWK from the beginning was EXTREMELY HELPFUL!!! From beginning to end he broke everything down and also suggested better alternatives for my car. They went above and beyond, even after all the work they did to my car was done I noticed something with the headlights I wanted to switch out and I thought (man I should’ve noticed that and told them in the beginning) but NOPE hawk and his team got right on it and switch out a few things literally took them 5 minutes. If you’re looking for HONEST good work then look no further. Hawk and his team at the shop are car god angels lol they know what they are doing, take pride in their work and get it done in a timely manner. Again thank you sooo much hawk and your team for taken care of me and my car! I have a hard time with trust but I can definitely trust you and your team.

This review is the culmination of September 23' to May of 24'. Unfortunately I have to give 2 stars due to the following; brought my 14' G37 6 SPD in for an alignment after installing myself, Z1 FUCA, adjustable nismo camber arms, traction arms, new sb end links front and rear, SPL tie rods. After the alignment, no spec sheet was given. Hok said, "There's something wrong with the alignment machine, I cannot print out the spec sheet. Please message me on Instagram and I'll send it to you." Never sent the spec sheet. Could only show me in person a random photo of the alignment screen. Honestly I didn't trust it. About a month and change later I had to change my tires, and noticed the traction arm bolt connected to the subframe had completely come loose, and the arm was hanging on by about an 1/16 of an inch. These arms were adjusted, and not torqued after. Hok's only explanation was that I installed them, indirectly putting the blame on me and didnt take liability for what could've been a catastrophic failure to my vehicle. The Good; He did offer to realign the vehicle at a lower rate after I had this issue. I do appreciate that. Recently I took the vehicle to Agile Performance and they had notified me that the passenger front ball joint was shot. I decided to replace them myself, and found both FUCA ball joint pivot arm was completely off alignment, driver side jam nut was not tightened whatsoever, and passenger side jam nut was very loose. (Jam nuts call for red loctite, how did they come loose?) So far, I've had to fix/torque/replace all of these issues myself and have JTune redo the alignment twice. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR AN ALIGNMENT. Adjustable suspension is not in their wheel house if they're not double checking these things.
Issue #2: I had J Tune install a new Z1 Clutch Kit, with Tilton HD CSC. Upon delivery of the vehicle the clutch pedal felt incredibly low, and required a ton of force in the pedal to go into gear. When I had requested the job, I had informed Hok I had a RJM Adjustable Clutch Pedal. This was never put in the invoice, and their mechanic was unaware, inherently leaving me with a clutch that may have been not bled properly. Fortunately, they use a power bleeder, but the issue is the slave cylinder was not engaging/disengaging properly/completely. I adjusted the pedal myself at home and it felt great again. I wanted to be safe so I brought the car back to have the clutch bled again, and the pedal adjusted. The mechanic adjusted the pedal, I left, and something still felt off. While the mechanic adjusted the height of the pedal, and the clevis arm. He did not adjust the upper clutch pedal switch, and it wasn't disengaging the clutch completely. I got in contact with RJM, the manufacturer and they had helped me in 45 minutes adjust the pedal perfectly. The mechanic had the same instruction the manufacturer did. In bold RED letters it says that any adjustment made to the pedal, the upper switch must be adjusted. Extremely avoidable issue. The only Good here is I haven't had any future issues with the clutch setup post ~2500 miles.
Issue #3; I had them look at an exhaust leak, in which they replaced all the bolts on the exhaust free of charge. Awesome. The bad, is that the collector stud nut on the driver side had come off, and the rear muffler section bolts come loose and recreated the leak I brought it in for. I had to go back to the dealer, purchase new collector nuts, and retighten the entire exhaust myself.
TLDR;
2 jobs, 4 trips back to finish what they started due to not making sure things were done correctly. $2000 spent, a ton of time wasted.
If you're doing simple bolt on jobs, it seems they do know what they're doing. Suspension work is out of the question. Is it going to last? I don't know. I don't think it was worth my time and stress. Hok is a nice guy and gives great customer service, but I don't trust that his

This is now my go to shop for automotive repairs! I have been here several times now and I haven't had an issue with any of their work. Pricing is also very reasonable. And most importantly they will install customer supplied parts! So I know exactly what quality original equipment parts and fluids are going into my vehicle.
