“What an exceptional first experience with The 1916 Company’s Newark location. From Vanessa who followed through on their commitment to help find the watch I was seeking, to Jack who immediately overnighted it across the country when it became available, to the associate who greeted me in store this evening and facilitated a great conversation (his name eludes me, but he is responsible for the Longines line of watches), to the associate with the awesome celebration OP who helped with the warranty on my new watch, and the associate who saw my wife and two kiddos waiting outside of the store and warmly welcomed and encouraged them to come inside to wait while I was being helped. The team at the store tonight set the standard for service - really, really impressive. This was my first Swiss time piece, and I’m really glad I went with an in-store experience. “Back in March of this year, I came across Van Scoy while looking up jewelry stores for engagement rings and gave them a call. I spoke with Parker on the phone and he extremely friendly and I explained to him that I was interested in purchasing an engagement ring for my girlfriend but didn’t know much. He told me to come in and I did the same day and Parker sat with me for almost an hour explaining every detail of what goes into an engagement ring. I had an idea of what she wanted so I was able to show Parker and he worked his magic trying to find the perfect match. He ordered several other diamonds for me to see a few days later. It took about 3 weeks for the ring to be sent out and made. I proposed to my now fiancé a week ago while we were on our vacation and the ring is so incredibly beautiful. I dealt with Parker and Mrs. Van Scoy and they made a stressful process, literally the easiest. Thank you so much for all our you help and getting the perfect ring made for my fiance! The best around! Go see them!”
