I stopped in to get a suit last minute and i’m glad Tim was the associate helping me. We had some issues with delivery times and Tim went above and beyond to accommodate. He easily could have said it was out of stock and there was nothing he could do, but he didn’t, he made sure it would get delivered within my tight timeline.

I needed to rent a suit for a wedding I'm in so I went to get it all taken care of on a Sunday morning when they first open. Upon arriving, someone was already in front of me. The man behind the desk told me that he would be right with me and that he was going to be by himself. Then a wave hit. Person after person after person walked in. Some wanted to buy things, some wanted to try on stuff that came in, some wanted to pick up. Meanwhile, there were 2 of us already there getting measurements and stuff for a suit rental. The man did his best to get to everyone, and still pay close attention when coming back to continue helping me. I can't remember his name right now, but if you go there and see a Slimmer guy with a big black beard, he is great! Fantastic worker! Anytime I shop for this type clothing, I'll go here because of him! This company should be thrilled with the employee they have!

I have several suits and sport coats from here. They last, look great even after 10 years. Yes really. We were in a terrible pinch, and my son needed suit separates for an event 4 days later. They sent us from Christiana, De to King of Prussia to get the matching pants we needed. They called ahead for us and pickup was easy. Winner, Winner, Chicken dinner!

I had a TERRIBLE experience at the Jos. A. Bank store in NEWARK, Delaware. The SEAMSTRESS was HORRIBLE. SHE REFUSED TO FIX MY LONG PANTS' ZIPPER. I brought them to this store because the Greenville store (my usual store) recommended I take them there, since their seamstress was very busy. I told the people at the Newark store that I was on a tight deadline, because I needed these pants for a trip to the Virgin Islands that I was soon leaving on. The woman at the desk assured me that they would be done in time. When I never got a call to come in and pick them up, I called the store. I was told that the seamstress said that I had to wash the pants. I told the man on the phone that they had already been SOAKED AND WASHED (so washed twice). He still told me to come in and do it again. When I went in the next day, I spoke to a new person at the counter. He went back and got the pants and agreed they were COMPLETELY CLEAN. In fact, they looked brand new. I asked to speak to the seamstress, but he told me that she had just stepped out. I have no idea why she acted this way. I have been a longtime customer of Jos. A. Bank for decades and I will never go to the Newark store again. I am now short of a pair of pants that I much needed for my trip. This SEAMSTRESS should be FIRED! Don't trust your clothes or deadlines with her!

The end result we are pleased with. Basically we were not satisfied with our purchase but in the end we were pleased with the outcome even though we didnt get what we asked for. There are still good people in this world that believe in true customer service. I would recommend.

Awful service. Staff and managers don’t really care about the customers. Ordered a custom suit. Experience was awful, in making alterations, manager seemed upset that I requested pant legs to be shorter. Elevated his voice when speaking to me. When asked for a refund, was informed I should wait 4-6 weeks to get a check in the mail, although unpaid for the suit with a card. He didn’t seem to care about the customer.

Went to Newark store to get my son a suit. Gentleman who helped us was professional and polite (5 stars to him). We have to rush order the pants because we were told his entire suit could be altered within 10 days. My son went back when the pants came in and got measure but was then given the entire suit UNaltered. He was told they now can’t do within 10 days and to go to a person’s house who does alterations on the side. Now this person wants payment in cash only. Seemed very shady so called the store asked for manager and was told this is what they do sometimes. This process is very unprofessional for this type of company. Expected so much more and then to place the burden on the customer to get the alterations. SMH. Very disappointed.

Newark store Mgr on duty at that time was rude and was not helpful to his employees at that time. Obviously he was under pressure and could not handle it & the 3 clients in store at that time. I wanted to buy 2 suites today possibly 3 but he would not help the poor new employee to help me. I should have gone to the Greenville store or Haverford store which is 100 times better and much better management. I do thank Joan and Karen for all their efforts in doing their best to help me.

Went into store Monday morning & assisted by Vince who definitely went above & beyond to help me out in a rush situation. He put my needs and concerns first and got me all squared away by the promised time that same day. A big thank you also to the tailor , apologies i can not recall her name, but she made it all possible for Vince to fulfill his promise. Vince was just helping out that Newark store that day and I am certainly glad he was there to help. Found out he manages the Greenville DE store so now I'll have 2 go to spots cause I certainly will be returning soon.

If I could give ZERO stars I would!!!Scheduled an appointment for my husband to get a suit for our wedding, his appt was 4/10/22 at 12 PM, he got there at 11:55 and waited at the counter until 12:15 with NO acknowledgement from anyone. A women walks in at 12:15 with a suit already in her hands and they skip over my husband and help her. He calls me upset obviously so I call the store asking why his appointment wasn't acknowledged and why he wasn't helped. They tell me they don't take appointments, I laugh and say I have an email confirmation of the appointment, he says whatever, we don't take appointments, it's first come first serve. I respond why would I have an email confirmation if you don't do appointments, either way, he was there BEFORE her so why was he ignored? His response was just "okay." I said "all you have to say is okay?" he again says "okay." And with that I disconnect and called corporate who referred me to a different company or the Greenbank location. The gentleman from Corporate was very understanding and helpful in getting a resolution, but it's still very off putting and frustrating to be treated like that. The customer service at this store is absolutely horrible and we'll be looking into other tux options for our wedding.
