Ordered new iPhone 15 Pro Max with a phone exchange. Phone exchange was processed incorrectly by Best Buy Christiana which led to complications. Store employee named sissy's (who was loudly cursing about another employee during order process) asked me to reset/erase prior phone, which then erased access to existing phone. I was told by a "supervisor" named Lee to go to an Apple Store or else I'd be without phone access for "a few days". When I informed him that I couldn't function without phone access (I came 45 mins away since this was the only location showing the phone in stock) I was told by Lee that it "wasn't his problem". I then took the phone to Apple, who fixed it within five minutes (using methods that could have been used by Best Buy).Mobile team is incompetent, bad at what they do and discourteous - I'd strongly recommend avoiding.

Horrible I mean just horrible placed an order at 10am (10AM) waited for a confirmation for 4 hours after that my husband got a bit tired of waiting so he called just for them to say their was something wrong with the payment called our bank just to tell us it was already processed and they had already pulled the $716 out called back for them to tell us a MANAGER will call us within 3-4 hours but I told my husband they close within those hours so we waited until 6:30PM at this point we decided to go in just to have a worker immediately just say we can refund instead of saying let's see what we can do let's just refund you within 3-5 business days we had explain to them it's one item that item was NL gaming system they where fully stocked with them as we first walked in most of the workers weren't even doing anything especially the female manger and one female employee who were complaining and talking about customers well we finally asked to speak to this manger and oh god can she barley talk but oh boy could she have an attitude long story short we ended up having to get a refund which we are still waiting on since Sunday so PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE ITS THE MOST DISTURBING DISRESPECTFUL AND MOST HORRIBLE BEST BUY EVER this is why Best Buy's are going under because of people and business places like this and I'm a trucker I've been to almost one Best Buy every state don't believe the 1 hour pickup either it's bs

Best Buy needs better communication with their Third Party installers and haul away people! I ordered a Dishwasher about a week and a half ago and was scheduled for install and removal of my old one. I paid extra for this too. Well last Wednesday someone dropped off the dishwasher but could not install it or take the old one away. So I have this Hugh box in my kitchen and still no working dishwasher! Then they said they would be here yesterday and of course the window was a 12 hour window. So another day wasted. They did not show up at all and never let me know they weren't coming. Now today someone shows up to haul away the old dishwasher but they can't unhook it bc it is hardwired. Now, the uninstall is scheduled for Monday and the install is scheduled for Friday. So another week with this huge box in my kitchen. To boot, I don't believe the customer service is in the United States! I told them if they don't get this done on those dates. I'm returning the dishwasher.

I like to come here because of the tax-free shopping, but other than that, my experience has not been good, especially with the customer service. There are two checkout lines - one for online order pickup and the other for regular checkout - but the employees didn't make it clear which line they were calling out for. They simply said "next!!" which was confusing for everyone in line. The checkout process was also very slow, and the line hardly moved. It seemed like the employees were taking their time with their work.

If any of you are in the market for new appliances I highly recommend you DO NOT USE BEST BUY in Christiana, DE. This has been a nothing but a horrible buying experience smothered in incompetency. At the beginning of last summer, we ordered $5,000 worth of appliances for our house in Neavitt, MD. They missed the first delivery date and were informed the refrigerator we bought was on back order and a temporary substitute would be provided. This was their highest level of performance. When delivered, the oven unit did not work and the install team had no idea what the error codes meant. The dishwasher was not properly hooked up or tested. In installing the dishwasher the team put two screw holes in the new refrigerator. To cap it off, they did not use the template included with the microwave and we ended up with 14 extra holes in our backsplash ruining the laminate material. The incompetence continues. After several weeks of having a stove with no oven we were given a delivery date for the new stove. After being told specifically the stove was to go to Neavitt they still attempted to deliver it to our Middletown home. Two weeks later it finally made it to Neavitt without further incident and actually worked properly. But it's not over yet. Eight months after spending the money to purchase the refrigerator we wanted, we are told it is finally ready for delivery. I arranged my schedule to make sure I could be in Neavitt for delivery. Once again, they missed the delivery date and tried to send it to our house in Middletown, despite numerous communications with the sales rep Terri to be sure it was going to the correct location. At around 10:30 this morning I received a phone call from Terri informing me there had again been a problem with delivery. It could possibly be delivered tomorrow and she said she would confirm later today. She blamed warehousing of course they will no doubt blame sales communication. Meanwhile, I will waste another day of life awaiting the mythical delivery. As a cancer survivor I place high premium on every day. I hate to waste even one due to the gross incompetence of others. If you are shopping, I strongly recommend you shop elsewhere.Part 2I guess I should keep my expectations low to avoid disappointment, but Best Buy has done it again. Delivery showed up as scheduled with timely professional installers. Old one moved out and new one moved in. New one with a nice creased dent on the corner edge of right hand door. Even when Best Buy does it right, they still get it wrong.

Came here to get a video doorbell. It was very hard to find anyone to help us get it out of the case. It's not well manned. Once we did get someone they helped check us out so we didn't have to get in another long line.

Don't waste your time ordering what they say they can deliver on a timely schedule. Order was supposed to be here today so I cab travel with it as a gift to someone I'm visiting. All they do is create a shipping label to bill your credit card. It has even been picked up by carrier. I doubt if they have it. Just taking money in that's what they do "Best" And customer service is not canceling my order. So you have to call you credit card company to stop the charge. Merry Christmas Bestbuy!

Spent over $300 for a 3 year Geek Squad Protection Plan. I called the store to order a battery replacement for my ASUS laptop and to have them call me when the battery is in to make an appointment to have it installed while I wait. BEST Buy phone system SUCKS!!!!! It is aggravating and wastes so much time. When I finally get through to a person, Luis, he can barely speak English clear enough to be understood and to understand English being spoken to him. I explained what I wanted to do, he checked and said I would not have to purchase battery, so we need to schedule an appointment. I again emphasized that I do not want to leave my laptop, I want to wait for the battery to be installed. He doesn't listen at all, agrees that it can be done and asks what day works for me. I give him a date and time, he said that works, I then confirm that I will be waiting for my battery to be installed in my laptop. He said no I will leave it and pick it up in 10-14 days. I am ready to reach through the phone and strangle him and I am trying to remain calm. I ask to please speak to a person that understands English. He said he cannot transfer the call and I have to schedule with him. I shouted into the phone that he deserves to be fired and should not have a position that requires communicating in English.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON BUYING A PROTECTION PLAN.AND BEST BUY NEEDS TO GET A BETTER PHONE SYSTEM.

I ordered a fridge, washer and dryer, and a TV for my new house. Everything was bought in store and paid to be delivered. The delivery service was terrible and Best Buy did not assist with the ordeal. The fridge alone had to be exchanged for a different size several times because the installers said it was the wrong size despite Best Buy employees saying the fit was good based on the measurments we gave. The hose to our dryer was also broken during installation and the installers neglected to tell us and did not move the dryer back so the door to the laundry room cannot fully open currently. And Best Buy again offered no assistance. Whether this is the fault of Best Buy or the supposed secondary delivery/installation company I will not be shopping there again.

Abysmal customer service. Waited in 4 lines for over a total of 1 hour and 10 minutes to pick up a purchase made on line. No information on which line to stand in and there is no line information in the back of the store where the line started. No signs for the TV pickup and no one coming out for the curb side to check. A few signs would go a long way. Why make someone go to the counter when you are just going to send them somewhere else? This could be taken care of in the texting. Horrible experience to include store employees laughing at the hoops they are making customers jump through. It seems like it is a game to see how far they can make people go.

Can't speak to the other departments in the store, but I was i and out of the phone department in 20 minutes with all my questions answered and a new phone for my Dad, who broke his. The tech at the wireless station was knowledgeable, listened to what I needed for someone who had severe vision impairments, and made a couple great suggestions to help me with my decision. Dad is happy with his new phone, and I'm happy I didn't have to spend the day waiting for assistance!
