It’s an institution, and a part of the community. With so many absentee landlords and generic, big box shopping experiences, it’s great to still have such a unique and personal option, where the quality is assured by the owner and staff. Once you purchase their excellent meats, local, grass-fed, antibiotic-free and hormone-free meats and poultry here, it will be difficult to go back to any other store. “I love this spot, especially in light of the Wilmington Farmers Market closing (This one is cleaner and better kept anyways). The food selection is incredible for any international food needs. The fruits and vegetables are also great. Prices are better than anywhere else. I have never bought meat products here, but there are plenty of options. The people that work here are plenty nice and accommodating. This is my preferred place to shop for groceries in the area.”

“10 stars. Excellent place for beef and everything else. They cut me some beautiful porterhouses and new York strips. Super helpful and very pleasant people working there. This will now be my go-to for butcher shop for steaks when I run out of the local 1/4s or 1/2 cows I usually buy.”

“If you are looking for catering, I highly recommend ordering from them. I was looking for some really good sandwiches for a bridal party on the wedding day. I ordered the supreme sandwich tray which came with the perfect assortment of sandwiches and chips. The sandwiches were so fresh and delicious, and I received many compliments and thanks. The owner also provided a really helpful suggestion to have the sauces on the side. The sauces also received many compliments on how delicious they were. Will definitely order for any catering here again in the future as it was just wonderful!”

“I see the bad reviews but my experience has been pretty good so far! Freeze the meats as soon as you get home. I've had the Delmonico steak, lemon pepper chicken, and burger patties so far and the quality beats the premade store stuff all the way.Now for my feedback on the sales techniques - I'm not sure the best practice is to approach people alone in a parking lot haha. I'm quite a strange individual so I decided to give the salesman (Minolo I think his name was) the time of day and check out his meats (in the back of a white van nonetheless). Social media marketing is probably a better way to go.Have not gotten sick from anything or experienced weird tastes. Should that change I will adjust my rating, but so far it's looking like I'm going to be set for the year on frozen meats! The Black Friday sale I got approached with was more than welcome and the bundle I was sold (easily 60-70 lbs of various products) is going to save me serious money I'd otherwise spend on overpriced ribeyes at the store! I'm primarily a carnivore so the ridiculous amount of meat is perfect for me - your experience may vary!”
