Middle Run Valley Natural Area is a popular outdoor destination known for its serene natural beauty and diverse recreational opportunities. Nestled amidst lush forests, the area offers a network of hiking trails that wind through the picturesque landscape. Many visitors enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, with some describing it as a "chill spot" to spend time with friends or introduce to their children. The trails are well-maintained and offer a mix of technical and flowing sections, making it a favorite among mountain bikers. The area features a skills run, chair rails, and a "sick boulder climb and descend," providing an adrenaline-filled experience for more experienced riders. However, hikers should be cautious of the presence of mountain bikers, especially on weekends. While the natural area lacks restrooms and playgrounds, it offers ample parking and a pleasant atmosphere for those seeking to connect with nature and enjoy the cool, high-altitude air of the mountains.

Very fun trail system. Good mix tech ish and most of the downhill is pretty fast and flowing. Skills run was pretty fun but does get slick in damp/wet conditions. Overall a great ride. It runs both directions so watch out on the blind corners. Still a fun flowy ride??6/24 2 years later
