OVER PRICED and LIARS!!! Last time I went the owner told me that each time I go they would give me a discount when buying more than 10 items of the same kind. Went in today and they had to call the owner and turns out they can’t give me discount when I was buying 16 items of the same kind. They are charging more than total wine and more. And when I realized the price difference they told me that they can call the owner again and that he can give me a discount instead of returning them. And once they spoke the owner it turns out I can’t return them and that they can’t do anything about it???!? Clearly the workers don’t even know their own policies and rules if they keep having to call the owners for every little thing. Where the owner?? Also when going through the store the guy kept following us. Can’t even shop in peace without them watching what we are doing. Never going back!

This is the best liquor store in Newark and the employees are very friendly and helpful too. Always have what I like to drink, which is rare around here and with all the stuff on backorder. Great place to shop.... Stop bye and you won't be disappointed...

Usually it's great here but today Friday Feb 10rh around 5pm I went to look at the sour beer collection. I've gone here before but today was a different guy. This guy decided to come out from behind the counter to watch me . I wasn't the only person in the store but I was the only nonwhite person in the store. my last time going here . There was no help offered he was just short and rude to me. No worries guy won't go back again.

I have been shopping at the Bottle Shop for the last 2 years. The selection is excellent and the prices lower than other stores. The displays are eye catching and I just enjoy browsing as well. The staff are customer friendly. In particular a young man Ken always greets me and asks if he can help. He is very knowledgeable about Beer so definitely look for Ken if you need help.
