September 2025 by Danee Sutton
First & foremost I would like to say the doctor I dealt with & the coordinator were AMAZING. My problem came with the billing department. Michelle Ward is very unprofessional dismissive and just honestly doesn’t care in helping people. My appointment was September 17th and I get a message on the 16th saying that I have to pay $1600 upfront. I kindly replied is that what my insurance doesn’t cover? No answer. So when I went to my appointment the next day which was 8am and I had to take off work for it, the receptionist tells me I owe $1600. I asked her is that what my insurance doesn’t cover? She calls billing I guess & they told me I had to pay upfront and the insurance company will reimburse me. My fiancée said we are going to call our insurance company. I called them previous to this before I even scheduled an appointment and they said they pay 80% and $750 an individual or $1500 for family. So, when I called them again they told me the exact same thing and clarified that they absolutely DO NOT reimburse payments. So I contacted this lady Michelle. She was so dismissive. She just said well I contacted your insurance on 8/15 and that’s what they told me. First of all if you contacted them 8/15, then why did you wait a month to tell me the day before my appointment about the cost I would have to pay. Second, I was telling her I literally just talked to my insurance. She went back and forth with me quite a bit and just basically kept saying well this is what your insurance said have a good day each time. Even after I sent her a screenshot of my insurance plan. I gave her the number to call, she wouldn’t call and confirm (I thought maybe she called the wrong number the first time or talked to the wrong department) because my insurance company literally told me again that morning they cover the testing. Anyways, from there I called RAD back and said I wanted to cancel all future appointments with them until the issue gets figured out. The lady on the phone was like I remember booking your first appointment! What’s going on? And I told her everything and she said that how they treated me was not right, she was going to have her manager contact me. Her manager did contact me a couple hours later but I missed the call. I called back maybe 20 minutes later, and no answer. I left a message and it’s been a week and the manager has not even called back. It’s ashame because you would think a fertility clinic actually wants to HELP people. Not treat them that way. Some of them were great, the others not at all. I will just have to find another fertility clinic. I heard great things about this place from a friend. But the way I was treated. Absolutely not. They did not try to help me at all. Again, the doctor, coordinator, and the lady who initially set up my appointment were wonderful.

They are the best!! I feel so lucky that i found them, before I start IVF with them I had 3 miscarriages, i was so sad and desperate, now my baby boy will be 6 month old next week:) 1- the office is super nice, and they have blood test office right there, so you dont have to go labcorp or anther place to get blood test. 2-All the staff ( from front desk to nurses to doctors)are super nice and professional .3- I was really impatient and cranky, i wish i can just be pregnant next day and have a baby right away, they are so efficient with all the steps and communication, I always get reply from them so fast so i never get anxious waiting answers from them. They also treated my endometriosis, and Dr. Wendy J. Schillings was my doctor. i cant think of one negative thing about this place so far. Just want to say thanks to all the staff there, Im really happy now! Thank you RAD!

Beware: they delete negative reviews. The numbers are skewed - I can think of at least five 1 star reviews that seem to have disappeared - all with the same theme. (And other in-person shared experiences. And a potential lawsuit)
I have never had more medical trauma or been treated worse by a doctor than by their founder - Dr. Barbara A. McGuirk. Even years later I marvel at how I cried in our appointment based on how she treated me - and without compassion she told me I had no reason to cry.
RAD is probably great if you're a skinny gal - but as soon a heavier person (all my PCOS girls??) knocks on their door their biases are shown. Beware - this place is founded by a human with questionable morals.

Rad was the 4th fertility clinic we had sought out (only because we moved several times for my husbands job) While I did have success with my first round of IVF in another state (my 6 yr old is amazing ) all 3 clinics diagnosed me as unexplained infertility....for 5 yrs following the birth of our son there was no rhyme or reason, just repeated fail or miscarriage....until Rad. Dr McGuirk has changed our life! She knew there was something going on, and turns out there was, asymptomatic endo (which btw is fixable) and 3months after my lap surgery which detected it, I became pregnant via IVF transfer with our 2nd son who is 2 weeks old. I am so greatful to Rad, I am thankful we never gave up and while the wait was hard, it seems like nothing now that our son is here. A big shout out to Dr Schillings who did my successful transfer & to Gina in the office who helped me more than she knows every step of this journey.

Everyone at the practice was patient and helpful. There were miscommunications along the way (to be expected) but RAD worked with me to make plan B happen and followed up to make sure I got the information or script I needed. They were very responsive on the patient portal. Every in person appointment I had was pleasant and positive.

My experience at RAD has been nothing short of amazing. The support system there is unmatched. They are so quick to respond and that always put me at ease, knowing they will get back to me right away on any questions I have. While I didn’t use RAD’s help to conceive, the support I received from the team was incredible. My only wish is that I could stay with them throughout my whole pregnancy journey because they are SO GOOD!
Thank you so much for making baby dreams come true!

RADFertility was with us through infertility issues caused by a genetic disease. After diagnosing this, we started with IVF. The RAD team was there every step of the way with us and became like family. Never did we feel like we didn’t have a huge support system behind us. And now, with all that RAD did, we have our sweet baby boy. We couldn’t be more thankful to RAD for making our miracle happen.

The RADfertility team and Dr. McGuirk are the dream team when it comes to fertility care. From the front desk, assistants, schedulers, patient care coordinators, surgery coordinator, and doctor... everything was perfect. Everyone on their team is there to help and be your advocate. I've felt welcome and cared for every step of the way. Their online portal is extremely user friendly, and keeps everything organized. Dr. McGuirk was a amazing. Extremely knowledgeable and capable, and equally calming and caring. Her bedside manner is what you'd wish for. I'd give 100 stars if it was possible.

We had a great experience with RAD. All the staff we encountered during our IVF journey were so kind, caring, and compassionate. Due to me having severe stage IV endometriosis, we had to do IVF to create our family, and I’m so glad we chose RAD! We just had our second little miracle, so we now have a 2 year old boy, and a 3 week old baby girl. We are so thankful for the beautiful gifts that RAD has helped give us. Thank you will never be enough to express my love and extreme gratitude to everyone who helped us build our family, but from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU RAD!!!!
Love the Marden family, Matt, Hayley, Matty, and Callie! Xoxox!

My husband and I started our journey with RAD Fertility in October 2023 and just “graduated” at 11 weeks pregnant today! We had no idea what our fertility journey would entail or how long the process would take. Each step along the way, we always felt well-informed and unbelievably supported by our doctor, the nurses, and all staff at RAD. I cannot describe the staff as anything but absolute angels. Through the highs and lows of fertility treatments, I always knew I was receiving the best care. My questions were always answered promptly, my nerves were regularly calmed by understanding and data to support their decisions. The RAD staff became an extension of our family as we start our own family.
There is nothing that could have prepared me for how difficult IVF is. I just feel incredibly blessed that we chose RAD Fertility for our treatment. I wouldn’t change a single thing. If God decided that we will need IVF to expand our family, and we will return to RAD excitedly!
