Friendly employees! I love the in-store prepared & seasoned items. I greatly appreciate they sell roasts that are small enough for a family of three; other stores have gigantic roasts for feeding an army. Clean. Big selection. Outstanding weekly sale items!

This review is only based on my pickup order on 6/7/2024. I placed my order on June 4 for a June 7 pickup. I already don’t like the fact that ShopRite is the only supermarket that charges for a pickup and I still have to put the groceries in my car. I never received the text the pickup was ready so I went to the store and was told my order was not shopped. I was told they are short staff and it would be 30min. I was there an hour. There were several people waiting for their pickup as well. What should have been done since we all have a scheduled pickup time was a phone call. Simple! Let people know ahead of time you are running late.

Ordered 2 graduation party catering bundles, called the day before to confirm the order and even came an hour later than planned but the cold portion of the order was not correct. Hot food was correct, ready and tasted great. The seafood and deli order was only half the order and the manager tried to tell me they probably just combined the order. It was obvious what was provided would not feed 30 people so they stated my second order and gave me the excuse that the person preparing it read it as only one order. On top of that they over charged me for the entire order. When I pointed it out and asked them to correct it they reversed the charges and then charged me the same amount again. Instead of refunding my card they they gave me cash and only a $25 gift card for the inconvenience. They only one who really took responsibly for the error was the HR gentleman who started there was no excuse for what happened because the manager kept making excuses. We won't even talk about how they put dressing in a contained then poured out back into the bottle and tried to give it to me. Mistakes happen but I encountered 5 people in this one instance that all made mistakes. Delaying me over 30 minutes to a graduation party I was hosting.

Lines are always long to check out. Still charging for plastic bags but give paper and they are biodegradable!!!

Often does not have items advertised in the weekly flier in stock early in the week and sometimes not even the week after so that rain checks can be used.

Store pick up staff in the back were quite rude. I entered door and was immediately and loudly greeted with, "who you got." Was rude and unfriendly.

Terrible front-end customer service! The customer service supervisor displays absolutely NO help or service to customers. She even argues with the store manager, in front of customers, about how her demeanor and actions are correct while he is wrong! I'll never shop at Shop-Rite Four Seasons in Newark, DE again!
