I like the store, but I wish they would stop moving things around. Also I have to pay for my bags, and I always forget to take my bags in with me

It didn't seem clean in the store. I didn't buy anything.

I don't have a problem with the store itself, although it could use a good overhaul inside. It's quite run down and unappealing to go to, but my real problem is the checkout lines. Don't fix what was not broken, put the cashier back on the other side of the checkout line. Not only does this create personal space and boundaries, but it gives customers back their privacy and makes the lines flow a lot faster. To have someone be able to look over your shoulder and see what PIN number you type is is outrageous and absurd!!! I had to actually tell the last cashier to look away when I was typing in my information. Whatever idiot designed these check out lines needs to be fired and replaced with someone competent. Until then, I will find a new grocery store that values its customers privacy, personal space and convenience.

I don't shop at this horrible store I go to Wegman's for all my . shopping. But this week I wanted to make steak sandwiches for dinner. So I decided to go to this store. When I got home I noticed the meat had gone bad. It had a horrible smell. I guess they don't even bother checking, before they put there meats out. This is the worse grocery store And there system for checking out is the worse. This store deserves a zero. And they charged you for there rotten bags, they must be made of tissue paper. I wish this store would close down, & they check your receipt when you are leaving. I hate there proceduce. I don't know who owns this store, he must be stupid.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The only nice thing about this market and I mean the only thing are the employees. It stinks like garbage or sewage from the drain when you walk into the store from the parking lot.. only God knows what's going on there. The store is ancient! I've lived around the corner for ten years and not one thing has been done to improve this 1970's version of a grocery store. The food options are minimal and I've often found and purchased spoiled items. The thing is I'm in there often enough to see everyone is doing their job. There's no time to play around. Now even tho they've gotten rid of the cashiers they still have to stand alert and watch everyone Checkout. I've even been in here when the owner was there on a couple of occasions shaking hands and smiling like he's oh so proud of this establishment. Like I said the people who work there couldn't be nicer and more helpful but honestly dude whatever your name is your store is in horrendous shape. I absolutely hate walking in there. It's grungy dim and old. Nothing makes me want to come here. It is literally my last resort. I mean there are some decent people with nice homes in this area and I've been wanting to ask why the proprietor/s don't care enough about their customers to put a little effort into the way this place looks. It's really embarrassing to know I've had friends and family come to my home and stop at your shop rite and then ask me what the hell is that place. You should install microphones to hear how much people dislike your store. It's the worst market and shopping experience around. If I would have known that my neighborhood market looked and smelled the way this place does I wouldn't have purchased my home here. We deserve better! I hope you do something about this.

Employees are nice and i was in a rush because i keep forgetting items that i needed but they helped me quickly and efficiently. And when i came back to get the rest of the items i forgot they helped me find the items i needed and helped me immediately. I was glad there were more lanes open so i could get out quicker while i was cooking at home. They're the real superheroes.

I’ve gone here for years but I do not think I will be returning. The checkout area is nonsense. They removed the cashier lanes, put in self checkout, but have cashiers at those lanes? It’s ridiculous.

Poorly managed. One register open on a Sunday. Lines down the aisles. Their cashiers can’t scan and bag at the same time. Inefficient and treats their customers like criminals.

This store is the worst shoprite I have ever been to. It's dingy/dirty looking, not very bright and the fact that they will literally watch you check out (scanning your items) & then check the receipt is beyond crazy. Not to mention the fact that you have to pay for a bag on top of their overpriced items....

Great selection of food and produce. Older store and associates could be a bit more friendly at checkout.

This is the worse ShopRite. They NEVER have enough staff to keep the lines down. Did the self check out which had a 25 item limit. (We had 30 items) and was told that we had to use a cashier. THEY HAD 1 CASHIER. Rest of the “cashier lines” were blocked and half of the self check out cashiers were broken. Hey ShopRite…..stop being cheap and hiring cashiers back. Will not return.

I wanted to start out with I normally complain I just never go back. I have been using this store for years, I stopped in to pick a few things up. As i picked up my items I had a count of 24. I went to check out and found the 2 lines had cashiers had long lines. I recounted and had 24 items so I procced to the 25 and under self-checkouts. There were zero customer's using them, as I approached a young lady came up and denied me usage of the self-checkout. She was very sarcastic, I mentioned there were 24 and requested she check my count. there is still no one using them or behind me in line. Again, very sarcastically she said she wouldn't count then stated she would let me go this time only. I wasn't breaking a requirement. She has no idea what customer service is about obviously if she had any training at all she most of spent the time on social media. This before I had a large order, again only 2 lines open with large lines no self-service was open. As I waited what I presumed was an upper-level manager talked with the 2 associates checking receipts upon customer existing. He then walked to a counter directly across from the 2 backed up lines and proceed to lean back raise his head towards the ceiling and close his eyes never to attempt a relieve of the lines, having some of the many self-service lines open would have relieved the lines rapidly. Then I believe when they use a cashier in a self-service line, they are breaking PCI requirements with credit card company's due to the cashier can see everything you enter on the card terminal.
