I think this is my favorite restaurant on Main Street. The food is consistently good. I went for dinner the first time a couple of months ago and I've been back 6 more times since. The menu changes out a few dishes regularly so there's usually something fun and new to try out. The atmosphere is great because you can wear a shirt and jeans or you can come business casual as a stop after work - both are acceptable. The way the tables are set up, coupled with the mood, decorations, and the lighting really makes it easy to feel like you're dining without strangers nearby. The staff are always friendly and attentive while remaining laid back, making the whole experience pleasant. Try it once. If you love it, I'm sorry because you'll be back many more times.

I have yet to try any food here cause i usually come for drinks. Specifically the $5 strawberry mojitos. They're not that good at all but I keep coming back for more. The staff is very nice and the ambience is very casual and warm.

I'm really a fan of this Ale House! I came with a bunch of colleagues for a birthday dinner, and I was pleasantly surprised at the food, decor, and ambiance. Food Very unique food! I had the fried deviled eggs and a very tender burger that is extremely well made for a college town joint. I think the menu really makes this place unique. My friends got meat lollipops, and I know it sounds weird, but they're good! Beer selection is pretty decent as well. Price is about average for what you would expect for an alehouse. 4.5/5 Decor/Environment Very comfortable with a good noise level. Modern look, and reminds me of a stone oven restaurant vs a steak house. Great for groups of all sizes as well. 4/5 Service Decent service, but we had a server that didn't know much of the menu. She also couldn't really recommend anything, and told us she haven't tried all the food. She also couldn't recommend any of their drinks because she was under 21. She also didn't come by as often as we would like, despite the place not really being packed. However, she's really nice! 3.5/5.

I really enjoy the food here - I've had a variety of items on the menu and haven't been disappointed. Their beer selection is also fantastic and I love the options for sizes of brews. The happy hour is usually pretty good and the buck a shuck oysters are a must on Friday's! The service is the only thing lacking - pretty slow on most occasions but something I can look past due to the food. The atmosphere is nice too. Solid place

We had a great time here. I was in town to show my fiancé where I went to college and grew up. Yes the town has changed A LOT since I was lived there. The ale house is modern, welcoming and keeps reverence to the past. The staff is super friendly and when you are seated you get monkey bread. If your not from the region it's a deconstructed cinnamon roll with icing. I just ordered the crab cake on English muffin with eggs Benedict on top. It was amazing and so filling I only could finish 2/3rds of it. She had the sausage gravy over biscuits. We travel a lot in the south and this was some serious gravy. It had the perfect kick at the backend which is expected. My crab cakes were seasoned exceptionally well while there was some filler it was minimal. Our server was amazing. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in town...too bad Dave Matthews won't be stopping by.
