Went in for a design consultation to get some help with organizing an office space that has gotten out of control. Natalie was so sweet and beyond helpful. It was clear that she gave us her full attention and listened to every word we said and expression we had. We all walked away feeling so positively and ready to tackle to problem! Well worth the hour drive.

Nice store but customer service was unavailable. I wanted to purchase meal prep containers, but with the lack of workers asking if they could assist me completely turned me off from this store. I ended up walking our without buying anything. Need to approve on customer interactions

I love storage and organization, so naturally I was pretty jazzed when I learned there was a place called The Container Store. I finally visited it today and I was sorely disappointed. The store did not seem particularly well stocked, lots of holes on the shelves. But the thing that really annoyed me is that there were virtually no prices posted for anything. For every five things on a shelf set, there were maybe two price tags. And half the time the prices weren’t even for the item on the shelf. It’s all stupidly overpriced to begin with. There’s no way I’m gonna take any of it up to the register without knowing the price. Walked out empty handed and walked through the store much faster than I would have anticipated. I came an hour away from Maryland for nothing.

I would give this store 0 stars if I could. My wife and I decided to visit the Container Store in the Fashion District in New Castle, Delaware, during a weekday evening. My wife wanted to redesign her closet and hoped to get some ideas.
From the moment we walked in, my first impression was not good. The store was nearly empty, with only a few customers, and we began looking around. As we approached the section we were interested in, we noticed a young lady sitting at a table, seemingly occupied with her work. Unsure if she was an employee, we continued to browse and were looking for some assistance.
However, the young lady appeared annoyed that we were in her section. So, we decided to go to the front of the store to ask for help. Hearing us, she chose to yell from her location, “Do you need help with something?” At that point, another store employee arrived at the front. My wife explained why we were there and requested assistance, only to be told that the young lady who hadn’t acknowledged us was indeed the employee responsible for that area. The employee then stated, “With the store closing in 40 minutes, she couldn’t spare a moment to acknowledge the customers in her area.”
We left feeling discriminated against, possibly due to the color of my skin or the type of clothing we wore. This experience led us to believe that the Container Store does not value our business or that of any other hardworking Black family. I would advise avoiding this store at all costs. The lack of customer service is disappointing, and it felt like our money wasn't good enough for them.

The staff here is always helpful! I've had nothing but positive experiences shopping at this location. I've had a car full of sleeping kids, and the staff had no issue bringing the items I purchased online, out to me.

I went there to get storage bags for sweaters. The lady at the register ask how she could help took me to exactly what I needed. The other lady was taking about what I and my husband bought.
