A super place for a cardinal that we rescued from some cats last week. They did not ask for $ but Mama gave them $10. We should have given them $20 at least. They were very friendly and their volunteer helpers were very gung-ho and obviously delighted to be working there.

If you find a pigeon or dove, injured or not, do not take them here! They will kill it whether it’s healthy or not! I spoke with someone who works here and they said every one of them is destroyed!!!!!!!Pigeons and doves, wild or not, make some of the greatest pets and contrary to what our corrupt government wants us to believe, they are actually clean animals and are beneficial to our environment! If you ever find one, there are other pigeon rescues in the Tristan’s area that will actually rehabilitate them and rehome them if they’re ever ready. Spread the word!

The oil response team was incredibly helpful and gracious in sharing their expertise and knowledge as we navigated through treatment of a pekin duck who was covered in a tar like substance. They are wonderful, caring people who do incredibly important work. Thank you, Tri-State!

This organization is wonderful. I had the occasion to call about an injured egret. They were prompt, courteous, caring and even followed up with about the outcome. If I could give more stars I would! Thank you for the great work that you are doing!,,

We had a baby house sparrow hanging by its leg on our roof for nearly 24 hours. When we couldn't get in contact with this organization first we kept calling other places but they all refused to come out and help. When we finally got in touch with Tri-State Bird Rescue they treated our case with urgency and were able to send a volunteer out within a couple of hours. The volunteer was great and was able to take the baby bird. We donated $25 after she left and look forward to seeing the facility for ourselves since it's only 10 minutes away from our house.

Zero stars for these worthless wonders. I called to get help for a turkey vulture with a broken wing hobbling on the roadside. I gave them his position to include a nearby house address within 100 feet of him. They refused to come out to save this marvelous creature. Couldn't take the chance they might have to walk a few minutes to locate. Now he'll be torn to pieces by predators, much like they should be. Go to hell.

Yes there a lots of issues in the world that need donations and our attention. Bird populations are declining. So if you have ever looked out your window in the morning with a coffee and enjoyed watching the birds outside your window or have woken in the spring to the sounds of song birds then you'll understand that they matter. Send them a donation. They do good work.

The fact that you proudly publicize your corporate sponsors are all oil and gas companies( who harm more wildlife than anything else ) appears to be a direct contradiction to saving wildlife. What do you do, try to save the wildlife that they are killing? And who might be the beneficiaries of any stipend that may be given? You don’t even have sufficiently trained volunteers who know what they’re doing when brought unto a rescue operation . I learned this from your complete incompetence and failure to provide even basic common sense knowledge which directly led to the death of a raptor that resulted in its death. You are fooling the public.

Nice way back down a wooded road perfect area for rehabilitation on all bird species, the drop off was very simple and the woman that took the baby cat bird was very nice and seemed to care about the wild birds that they take in . I'm sure I will be seeing them again.

The caregivers are very kind and accommodating we had an injured bird and we were able to get the bird help. They took the bird the same day we found it. Great job! Thanks

I have repeatedly called to report a great blue heron in distress. "Your call cannot go through" is the repeated response. Noone to talk to. No way to leave a message. No place to email.
