The owner yelled at me and told me if I know so much about hair I should go it myself when I came in for a bridesmaid's hairstyle. This shop doesn't know how to handle your hair unless it's straight. The braids weren't tight lopsided and frizzy.
Lester Nock left me sitting for 20 minutes before ruining my Bridesmaids hairstyle had to go home and redo myself

Not an issue with hair service - issue with business practices.
I've been going to THD for almost 2 years and working with Tara who always did a great job with my hair. I scheduled my appt for today months ago. When I came in I was informed that she left. Okay, so who is taking care of me? NO ONE - they are totally booked. I was informed that Tara was supposed to notify her clients that she left. Sorry, I thought I was YOUR client.
I have been to other salons where a stylist left and they have always either notified me or booked me with another stylist so I could still get my service. Neither happened in this case. In fact, the receptionist gave me Tara's cell number and told me to call her. What salon sends people away? I guess ones that don't need customers.
I am disappointed by their business practices, however I see now that as a client I am not important to them so I will take my business elsewhere. I wish them nothing but the best and hope that they consider changing some of their business practices so they don't lose more clients.

I first met Lou when he was working at JC Penney’s and gave my then 7 year old gymnast daughter the popular “Dorothy Hamil” haircut prior to an important meet (where she went on the win the DE state championships!). That daughter is now 45 and much has changed in all our lives. But what remains the same is my hairdresser! I still go to Lou and, in fact, was there today. He gave me one of the best colors and styles ever, in the 38 years I have known him. He has the amazing ability to figure out what I want even when I don’t quite know what it is. And one other thing I’d like to mention, which is even more important than the great stylist he is. Lou happens to be a really, really good person. I am in awe of what he has done with his life and the difference he has made in the lives of those he loves. Thanks Lou, for all you do.Services: Hairstyling

Over priced and completely damaged my hair.My hair was over processed with bleach. It’s completely damaged now.Miranda (my stylist) didn’t even catch it. I had to tell her that i thought it was time to take the bleach out because my head felt extremely hot.The color is uneven. I’m not satisfied at all. And my hair is damaged.I won’t be going back

Staff are wonderful. I've been going for over 10 years and the quality of service has been amazing.I typically go and see Lou (the owner) for cuts and color. I've been really happy with my hair most of the time (hey, we all have those bad hair periods). Anytime I have not been pleased, Lou listens to my concerns and we adjust at the next appointment.I am a teacher with 2 kids. One of my biggest fears was fear of the cost of service. While it is not cheap, I w was able to budget and afford a cut and style/color approximately every 6 months. And just a cut in between the color sessions.I would not go any where else.

I recently had my hair done by Tara and she killed it. I have been trying to find a stylist to go to for years and finally found someone that listened to what I wanted and was able to execute 100%. Tara is amazing, I highly recommend her!!!Services: Haircut
