Believe the hype! If you're near Newark, Delaware...get HERE! Icecream is fresh, made by UD students at their local dairy farm through the college of agriculture You have NEVER experienced icecream so creamy and delicious! It's so filling, I learned the hard way that a single scoop is enough! They have regular flavors and seasonal selections. You can try before you buy, so you know you will love it. We regularly visit this location on Main Street whenever we are in town. The service is always so friendly and attentive. There's an indoor sitting area to enjoy your treat.

The storefront for UDairy Creamery serves up super-local treats. You can even visit the cows! We went during their Pi Day promotion and got mini pecan pies a la mode for $3.14. My everyday flavor recommendations are either 1923 (if you like a vanilla base) or Delaware River Mud Pie (if you like a chocolate base).Dietary restrictions: Recently UDairy has started offering dairy-free ice cream made with Oatly oat milk.

I stop here one day last summer and now this is the only place I buy my ice cream from. It’s better than the stuff I buy from the grocery store. Highly recommend coming here for a cone or two.

Amazing flavors, great service every time. Ice cream is fresh, with unique flavors. There will be something for everyone. You will not be disappointed. I love it. The one bad thing is that the location in Wilmington was closed. Please bring it back.

Someone recommended this place over Surreal Creamery and said it was better ice cream for half the price. I should have known better. The menu is poorly labeled, and there are too many options to choose from. It get's really confusing trying to figure out what you want, especially if you don't eat gluten. The staff are clueless and don't know how to manage a large crowd of customers, which makes things a lot more chaotic than they need to be. My ice cream was bland and tasteless and my spouse ordered a milkshake that had so much milk he couldn't taste any ice cream flavor at all. All in all, it was not a good experience and we won't be back. For around the same price I would rather go elsewhere where I can get a better quality product and better customer service.
