They made a mistake on the date of filling a RX. When I called them about it, the woman (I, unfortunatley did not get her name) on the line tried to explain it away quoting "Delaware Law." She kept interrupting me, would not hear my side of things, and ended up hanging up on me. I found my bottles from the previous month and called back. I spoke to a nice man named Andrew who explained that it was their error. He also explained to me, in going forward, how to get it corrected. I have never been a fan of CVS due to the one I dealt with in Virginia totally messed up my parents' prescriptions. I only switched to them here because my Aetna Insurance basically made me. I will likely be switching back to the little pharmacy near me after that woman being so rude. I work in health care and I would never speak to a patient the way that woman spoke to me.

What an an unorganized mess they are in the pharmacy. Told me that my scripts would be ready in 15 minutes, 45 minutes later not only were they not ready but they couldn’t even find anything. They actually asked me did I pick them up earlier. WOW!Some months ago when I got home with my daughters prescriptions there was somebody else’s medication in one of the bags we took it right back but they had to throw it away because chain of custody was broken. Expected. Now I worry did they give my prescriptions to somebody else?

CVS Pharmacy department in Ocean View DE is very poorly managed. Lately, they cannot fill a prescription in less than 3 hours, their phone notification system is out of sync with actual orders completed, and their newest employee, Lara, has only 1 phrase in her vocabulary "we're very busy."Unacceptable customer service. They canceled a vaccination appointment with no explanation. When I arrived for my rescheduled appointment I waited almost 25 minute because according to Lara "we're very busy."Advice to new residents, get your scripts at Giant or Rite Aid. CVS can't handle the customers they already have.

I was just in this cvs and online it says they close at 11:00 on Google as well as cvs’ website. So my sister and I thought we would go in and buy a few things that we needed because they are the only place open around here. As we walk in we stop to look at a few makeup items and while standing there minding our own business an employee yelled “ can you go please I have an agenda” after that me and my sister questioned if it was about us and not long after they went on the loud speaker stating they were closing. I’m very confused because again both Google and cvs’ own website say they close at 11:00 so we walked out with nothing.

Poor communication skills, have to always ask if someone is a floater or ACTUALLY works there and still can not believe what they say because it changes daily upon the mood and rules in which this pharmacy would like to apply to who and when they wish. Don’t even bother filling it here. If they are EVEN filling the RIGHT prescription to begin with. And than blame it on you for not inspecting the bottle and medicine before you leave the store. Could’ve very well sued this location. Don’t bother with them-

Very slow, poor communication, the pharmacy team all take off for lunch at the same time. Often it is much longer than the 30 minutes that they state. You can be placed on hold for 20 minute or longer. Bottom line, nobody cares.

First, I am a kidney stone factory and since passing my 5th stone and having lithotripsy to break up the stones in my kidney, my doctor put me on potassium citrate. I had it filled numerous times by a CVS in maryland where we used to live. Here in Delaware, CVS tells me they can't order it, so it's back to searching for a pharmacy to carry it. Second, I was put in a common antibiotic after surgery, I'm told they can't get it, but I went to Walgreens and they had it in good numbers. Third, I 'm diabetic and take an injection of ozempic, guess what..... they can't fill that either. This pharmacy is poorly run and managed. My wife has the same issues with them, yet they just don't seem to care. I once had a lot of loyalty to CVS, they have squandered that.

Pharmacist and Pharmacy staff is rude and IMO a bit lazy as other reviewers have mentioned. They will not fill scripts outside of 24 hour time frames on transfers (which is their made up policy) even when medical conditions might warrant speedier lead times. They lack awareness and understanding. I've never talked to a Pharmacist with so little awareness about patient needs.

I wish I had read the reviews before switching to this CVS. I picked up my first prescription, 2 days later I opened the bag (when it was needed) and it was the wrong medication. I spoke with the pharmacist and he told me my correct prescription would be ready in an hour. When I asked “what about the medication they had given me?” He said I could bring it in and dispose of it. No returns. So I paid money out of my pocket for their mistake! My advice to everyone, check the medication when they give it to you. Make sure it’s correct. Not paying attention to what I was given was my mistake, and I paid for it.

Twice in the past week the person at the pharmacy desk was annoyed with our questions and terse in their response regarding questions about an extreme price difference in a drug for our 91 year old mother. The person advised to go back to medicare and silver-script. Which we did. All I know is the TV ads show a friendly person at CVS with a mother and child that could not afford the medicine and the person offered a way to get the medicine cheaper. Our experience was quite different at this pharmacy.

This CVS location employees two of top CVS Associates that I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with at any CVS, RITE AID, or WALGREENS--ever! Benjamin went above and beyond any customer service expectation that I had. He double checked all my items for the correct price and also made certain the dairy items that my daughters purchased were not expired. This young man should be promoted.
