I cannot wait to go back! The turkey sammie was hands down the best sandwich I've had in south Delaware. Every ingredient was fresh and the GF bread was light and delicious. (You would never know it was GF.)For dessert, three of us split the peanut butter pie. It was airy like a mousse with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Plenty for us to enjoy. So good!Definitely going to be my go to lunch spot.Dietary restrictions: Organic and GF

Delicious food. The menu is superb. You can do a brunch or lunch with a desert or after meal drink. They have a good variety of sandwiches, including a lobster roll as well as salads. I did the breakfast plate and artisan bread w seasonal butter as well as a tomato jam with my girlfriend. We loved every bite. It included fresh fruit. We will be back manly times. There is a theater onsite as well.

Popped in very quickly for takeout coffee for a long drive ahead. Fabulous coffee, friendly service, and while we didn’t eat- it smelled great! Will return in the future.

Very responsive owner! We will be willing to try again. Still needs some good, inexpensive wines on the wine list.

Well, seems another outstanding restaurant in the area has bit the dust. I’ve been a fan of this establishment since they first began as a small inside restaurant a few years back. However, I ate there with out of town guests last weekend and was quite disappointed. I ordered the chicken over wild rice dish. Chicken breast was dry and chewy, and served with almost raw and tasteless baby carrots and green beans. I might add, the dish was not even hot…warm at best. What happened??Parking: Parking fine

This seriously used to be my fave place. Very disappointed in our meals this evening - to the point that we asked our server if there is a new chef - which not surprisingly there is. Succotash tasted canned - had one bite, potatoes were raw inside - obviously didn’t eat, bronzini had a glaze that was much too strong a flavor for such a delicate fish. Our server agreed with some of our comments but didn’t even offer to take off the cost of a drink or something as consolation. $120 for a meal we didn’t enjoy. Wont be returning anytime soon.

Just went in for the market and if you're looking for some speciality vegan groceries in the area, this is your best bet! Good variety and even had vegan household cleaning and personal care items. For dining, the outdoor seating looked beautiful in a garden-esque setting.

We had a wonderful dinner at Good Earth Market & Restaurant last night. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. We started with the smoked fish dip, which was creamy and flavorful. For our entrees, we had the scallops, ribeye special, and tuna poke bowl. The scallops were cooked perfectly and were so tender they melted in our mouths. The ribeye was cooked to our liking and was juicy and flavorful. The tuna poke bowl was fresh and delicious. We also had a glass of wine with our meal, which was perfectly paired with our food.We sat outside on the patio, which was perfect on a warm summer evening. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back to Good Earth Market & Restaurant again soon! Here are some additional details about our experience:- The scallops were seared to perfection and served with a delicious lemon butter sauce.- The ribeye was cooked to medium rare and was so tender it melted in our mouths. It was served with a side of roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes.- The tuna poke bowl was fresh and flavorful. It was made with tuna, avocado, cucumber, seaweed salad, and a ginger soy dressing.- The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He made sure we had everything we needed and was happy to answer any questions we had.- The atmosphere was perfect. We sat outside on the patio, which was shaded and had a nice breeze. It was the perfect place to enjoy a summer evening meal.- We would highly recommend Good Earth Market & Restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and memorable dining experience.

This place is GORGEOUS! And the food is incredible. You’d be missing out if you didn’t stop here. Will be back again for sure! Wish I knew the store was there when I was a vegan — would have helped me out so much! But that’s okay, there’s even more that I like and can consume now that I’m not!

We are vacationing close to Bethany and came across this gem! We are gluten free and dairy free, and it was amazing to be able to eat such great food without having to worry. It can be such a challenge. The staff is so helpful and the food is so good!Ate brunch and dinner and we will be back tomorrow! Prices are very reasonable and quality is great!Dietary restrictions: Very knowledgeable about allergies and very accommodating

What has happened? After eating many times - lunch and dinner - took my sister & brother in law last evening for a special dinner. Few tables taken. Yet waited 15 min for someone to come over to table. Took 3 requests to get water. Server didn't know what kind of gin was carried. Had a cavalier attitude. Then only said they had Tanqueray. Huh? Ok, moving on. The beet spread tray had huge chunks of broccoli. Very little other veggies. Crackers were oily. Disappointing. Onto dinner. My scallops were good but shrimp & grits were swimming in liquid & grits were bland. Dessert was Smith Island cake. Seemed day old & overly sugary. After a $300+ bill, expected much much better. As a resident here, i thought Good Earth was a special place. Not anymore. Very disappointed.

They have a great selection of vegan/gluten free in their store. So you would think they would offer vegan cheese in their charcuterie boards or sandwiches but they do not. This time I ordered their chickpea salad sandwich. I was told that it’s similar to a chicken salad sandwich just with chickpeas. Sounded fabulous to me, I love chicken salad. What sucked was there was no seasoning in it. It was incredibly bland. Normally you expect salt plus dill and garlic powder in the chicken salad or chickpea salad to give it some oomf.Unfortunately that was not the case, so our server replaced it with a turkey sandwich. It was ok but the only flavor in it was from the turkey. I’m rooting for them to incorporate some aiolis, chipotle aioli, truffle aioli etc. Just a sandwich that’s better than what I can make at home especially for the price. Our server was great! I felt bad because they seemed understaffed so she was the only one running around. Seemed unfair to her. Wishing them the best and hope they take this feedback in stride and prove me wrong!
