We decided to replace our refrigerator and range while doing a major kitchen renovation. We replaced the microwave also due to a GE special offer which made the microwave virtually free.We went with Shore Appliance despite the fact that we could have saved a few hundred dollars buying directly through GE with my professional association buying program. We chose Shore Appliance just in case we had any issues we could deal with their service department instead of having to go through GE. Getting a GE repair appointment on Delmarva can take many weeks. That turned out to be a great decision.Our "virtually free" microwave stopped working after a few months. Shore Appliance promptly sent a repair person who replaced many parts. It failed again. Shore Appliance worked behind the scenes to get us a replacement without us having to go through the ordeal of dealing with GE directly. A special shout out to our sales person, Ryan Horne, who always was available to me and went above and beyond to help and advise me.

My washing machine went up and I stopped in to the Ocean View store. Liz helped me almost immediately. She was very knowledgeable on the various machines, their warranties and the functionality with regard to technology and agitator versus no agitator. She even did price comparisons from big box stores! I bought my machine from Shore because I love supporting smaller businesses and I really love personal service. I've bought from Shore Appliance before and have always had a positive experience.

Ryan was excellent. Mom and I drove to their store and got their right before closing. I was ready to buy the refrigerator, but mom wants to see if ours can be fixed.

I visited shore appliance & one other local appliance store near rehobeth beach in may/ june 2022.Decided to order our kitchen appliances with Shore. I worked with Ryan Horne the entire time. Since supply issues were still an issue, Ryan assured me they'd be in by the time our contractor was ready for them - and they were !We asked them to come back to fix 2 things and they just started a new scheduling system that never put us in. I contacted Ryan & he personally came out to take care of us!

Highly do not recommend doing business with them and I am truly regret that I did. I spent an hour in the store trying to solve the issue and 4 employees were moral pressure me and didn’t even tried to hide their frustration with me and total indifference. I felt terrible when I left the store, almost broke in tears, it was the worst experience I ever had in my life with retail. If you have an issue, don’t go to this store alone.

Responsive and knowledgeable staff. Smaller store in a great location. No waiting! Comparable prices to larger chain stores. Got the dishwasher and delivery in a week.

Hit the appliance jackpot when Shore Appliance sent Pat to install my new microwave!!!He went above and beyond to “fix” and make a few adjustments that the original home builder messed up improperly installing my old microwave.Thank you so much Pat and Shore Appliance, Ocean View Delaware!!!

My sales experience was great! Beth was very helpful, listened to my needs, and helped me pick out the dishwasher that I was very pleased with!Unfortunately, that's the end of the good service. I was called the day before installation to let me know my dishwasher was damaged, but they had another one in the warehouse they were pulling to visually inspect and I would get a call if there were any problems. No call means no problems - they confirmed. So I drove down that evening, only to receive a call at noon on installation day that the dishwasher never made it on the truck from the warehouse. I rescheduled and asked Ryan if something could be done to help offset my costs of making a 3 hour one-way drive for an installation that didn't occur. Ryan said they would talk to their manager and call me back that day. No call back.Next day, I call and repeat the story to Liz, with the same request of reducing the installation costs or offering a free extended warranty. She listened and repeated what I expected - she needed to talk to her manager and would call me back. No call back.I emailed Beth - asking her to be my advocate with her management. I priced the exact same dishwasher at a box store for $100 cheaper (installation cost was cheaper). I stressed to Beth in the email that I would prefer to use Shore Appliance because I wanted to use them for future service on the appliance. She replied back at the end of the day (Friday) and said she would contact me Monday.Monday. No contact.Tuesday. No contact.Wednesday (day before rescheduled install). I called Beth and asked if she had a chance to talk to her management about my request. She said she did and there was nothing they could do. Unfortunately, I chose to cancel my order.If the first dishwasher would have made it on the truck, I'm sure I would have been more than happy with my purchase and service. But poor management will always show itself. Don't hide behind your workers.Two stars strictly for the sales experience with Beth.

Received my refrigerator quickly(mid April) and was very happy. Was told ice maker was on back order. Also noticed a couple of pin holes on the refrigerator door. They insisted on replacing it. They said they'd replace the door when the ice maker comes in. Finally in July the ice maker came and they were to replace the door and put in ice maker. Came on August 2 without the door and said they didn't know anything about it. Also had the wrong ice maker. The delivery people reached out to the store and I was told someone would contact me. That didn't happen. I called again August 29th to inquire. I spoke with Ryan H and told him I was upset that nobody is calling me back and letting me know when the ice maker and door would be installed. He assured me he would call back. It's now September 23 and I have not heard from him. I left another message today. Very disappointing. I paid for it and I'm sure I could request that money back but I would still not have the refrigerator I wanted with an ice maker

We own a rental in BethanyThought we would be better off with Lowe's turns out Shore Appliances had a better price, and could take care of everything we needed including getting it delivered and installed in just a few days. I am very thankful for Shore Appliances and will definitely use them again .

We got our new washing machine delivered and installed. Employee Mr Ryan started the test run and before he left we asked for manual but were told that he doesn't have it and we can look for it online. Later we found 1 pound of junk inside, looks like it was our the manual book No one apologized or looked concerned when we addressed the situation to the store employees.

Placed order on 7/22 - day before delivery and installation on 9/1 we called to re-confirm - found out they didn't even put the order in. No phone call, no apology and definitely no customer service.
