It's nice to have Aldi store at Rehoboth Beach. The store is small. Has most things but runs out of lactose free milk often. When there is a storm coming, the shelves empty quickly. The store is kept clean. Shelves are kept near. Floors are clean. The parking lot has adequate parking. Bring your .25 for the shopping carts. It keeps the parking lot safer by bringing the carts back for your quarter return. The staff is scarce. I think this is intentional as they have the most self check out lines I have experienced at any Aldi across several states. This is a poor choice. There are at least 6 self check out stations and three stations that are equipped for staff to check out. Most of the time there is no one checking out leaving no option but to use self check out. This is a retirement community, most folks that live here are not used to self check out. It is very frustrating to do a big grocery shop and try to check out with the little platform to hold baggage.I don't remember taking a job at Aldi. I don't receive any discount for this work of balancing my order at the check out counter.Forget when it is in season, trying to check out is not pleasant. I have walked out on many occasions to go down to Giant food store located .1 mile down the road. With being a beach community, the self check out slows the process of getting out of the store in any timely manner June through October.Would like to see more HELPFUL staff.

I tasted an Aldi protein bar and loved it. I had to go on my way to AC and picked some up. Large selection of meal bars and snack bars. Great taste, actually better than some of the bigger companies and better priced.

They have some really good choices in organic products! You never have sticker shock at check out. Their garlic rolls are the best.

They offer some different foods for a lower than average price. An example: prepackaged pulled pork or pulled chicken. Special young children's toys: wood sandwich making kit or salad making kits. Everyone should experience this store at least once and judge for yourself.

First time ever in an Aldi, and wow, what a surprise. The selection isn't huge, but it's all good and very well priced (a pound of sliced ham or chicken for about $3.50). First time Swiss cheese has cost more than sliced ham, and the cheese was $2 less than anywhere in town I've shopped. The only surprise was a lack of registers. Most of it was self check out. But I'll happily check out my own groceries if I'm saving $40-50 a shop. Great store, and great prices. Thanks Aldi!

They have a nice meat and produce section and their household or personal prices are hard to beat on things like shoes, decor, bake wear etc..I've been disappointed at times, charged twice for one purchase prob bc the cashier was way too fast for this old chick and didn't realize it for four days so bummer for me..got baby bella mushrooms that tasted like straight up pesticides, threw em out..for the most part their decent tho n prices are more than fair

Aldi was my favorite before they got rid of all the registers and opened self checkouts like a lot of other stores. There’s only one guy ever checking people out and he’s also in charge of the self checkouts.It’s awful! Having a decently paid staff of cashiers is why I went there over other places. I hate being forced to ring my own groceries, I used to get paid to be a cashier! It also promotes dishonesty. We all know people steal when stores go almost 100% self checkouts.The lines are worse now too. When you have a staff of well trained cashiers they can get through way faster than someone doing it themselves. When it’s one guy hardly ringing anything because he’s also fixing the mistakes of five random people the line gets all the way down an aisle and then some! It’s absolutely ridiculous.

So normally I would give a 5 but I was stunned by the all but 1 (cash only) new self check outs. I really like the speedy cashiers at Aldi. I guess I have to get used to self check out now. Otherwise as always a very good and affordable shopping experience.

Love that this Rehoboth Beach Aldis has added checkout stations! They might not have all one can find out a regular grocers, though they have below market prices on many fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy, and that’s why I enjoy shopping at Aldis!!#Aldis

Love all the affordable options here, and I love the speedy checkout. I only knocked a star off for the fact that it's always so busy. I would love if they found a bigger location!

I was overcharged $49.92 and wasn't paying attention so I didn't notice until I got home. Since they were closing in 15 minutes I went back the next day to get a refund. The cashier had to call the manager who's name is DANIEL on his radio to come do the refund. The manager, DANIEL, said to me 3 times during our encounter "thanks to you my entire lunch is ruined " I was stunned and so were the other customers in line who heard it. DANIEL isn't fit to manage a child's lemonade stand much less manage a grocery store. The WORST customer service I have ever encountered

Stores are not big and they mostly carry their brand of products that taste pretty good therefore not a big varity to choose from. I only ever bought 1 item there I didn't care for. Most prices are excellent. Fresh meats, fresh bread and produce. Fast checkout and several self checkouts. Bring your own bags or purchase theirs. You need to bag your own groceries but small price to pay for good prices. You need to have a quarter in order to use cart but you get it back when you return it.

Perfect store ?The fruits and veggies are always fresh. They have a good selection of everything and very reasonable prices.We also tested the delivery service and I can really recommend this one as well!The staff is very friendly and always helpful
