I’d give the place a million stars if I could for the unforgettable experience the employees provided to my family yesterday. My grandmothers both lost their husbands within a year of each other and it’s been very hard on my family throughout this time. So I thought to bring them down to BAB to make their own plushie in memory of them, and secretly got a recording of my Poppop’s voice to put in my Mommom’s Bear before the rest of the group came in. We presently cannot find a recording of my Grandpa for my Nana but I still got a recording device in the event we do. Every single step of the way, every employee was accommodating to all our needs and enjoyed watching these ladies and the rest of the family enjoy the store. The recording of the bear was a secret until we left the immediate premises and showed her what to do. We got a recording of hearing my Poppop’s voice for the first time in almost a year. She broke down sobbing after realizing who it was and I definitely broke down sobbing with her. I think the rest of my family shed a tear or two as well and we had a group hug in the parking lot. After that, I went back in to the store as we got a video of her reaction and I offer the employees the ability to watch it. They were all let in the know of the loss so I figured they’d be curious. A few of the employees had been swapped for shifts at this point so one or two missed out but I provided a way they would be able to watch it still. The employees themselves all got misty eyed as well.
I just don’t have any other words to express my gratitude to all the employees for being so accommodating and outright generous to my family. They also got huge enjoyment watching my whole family and my heart just feels so full from such an amazing and also emotional experience. Calling them out by name, a huge shoutout to Kai, Danielle, Mora, and Jenn as the floor employees. I also personally spoke briefly with the shift manager to rave about them. But I’m also gonna rave about her too as she was part of the process as well. Major shoutout to Liss for being a kind manager who runs a fantastic group of employees for that shift, and further adding to the experience of my family. I really couldn’t be more grateful for how things went, them guiding us through every step, and once again, creating such phenomenal experience for my Grandmothers and the rest of my family as well.

Employees were really friendly, it's very clean and organized. They had some of the Halloween stuffies (including a big devil bear) I definitely recommend stopping in and building yourself a new friend?

The sales associates are fantastic and great with kids. It's an overpriced stuffed animal, but a good experience.

Very disappointed with the employees. I was offered vet little customer service. They didn’t walk us through and give us the whole experience. The only things they did for us was greet us, fill our bear, and take our money. ?

Took my daughter there to do a birthday bear. The staff didn't even speak when we walked in. One was standing behind the counter and the other was sitting in a chair. Finally a girl came from the back and got us the birthday bear. She mumbled about putting the heart in the bear and everything else was pretty much...hurry and get this over. We then found an outfit. Then another girl came out from the back and went towards the register as we were checking out. She asked my daughter if it was her bday. She asked if anyone gave her a bday sticker...no. Did anyone give her a bday hat...no. Did anyone sing the bday song...no. My little girl is only 4 and what I thought would be fun and special, seemed like a huge chore for the employees besides the one. The other girl NEVER got up from the chair. Thanks for making it so special, we hope we didn't bother you too much.

I must say I am quite disappointed by my visit to this establishment. The staff showed no care to be there at all. They literally played rock paper scissors to decide who was going to be unlucky enough to fill our bear. They were just unhappy and quiet. Still got a cute stuffed frog and I like their new little build a bear options, we got a little axolotl. I’m just happy my daughter was only 7 weeks old and not 7 years old because she won’t remember this disappointing visit.

We brought my one year old in to make his very first build a bear. The employees were less than welcoming, and did not make the experience special or exciting whatsoever. They didn’t offer to put a heart in the bear we got our baby, they didn’t really talk to him or get him excited (which does not take much effort at all). Thankfully he’s little enough that he doesn’t know the difference, but as a mom and as someone who has had a really good experience with build a bears up until today, this was quite disappointing. The employees working at 2:30 PM on 01/28/24 also stated they didn’t even care about their jobs with customers in line that could hear them, and that was pretty obvious. Overall, pretty disappointed in the experience here and wouldn’t recommend this location.
