This evening we were decorating our Christmas tree and had such good memories of Lou and all the Avenue Inn staff. Such wonderful people! We’ll be back in 2026 excited to see Lou and all the friends at The Avenue Inn and in Rehoboth.”

“Can't find a better hotel in the area for the nightly rate than The Oceanus. It's well-furnished, clean, and conveniently located to the beach as well as a wide array of restaurants and novelty stores. It sustains maximum hospitality even through lower activity tourist seasons, my stays here were in October.”

Has a bar and restaurant in the lobby, a mini convenience store that is open all night, nice hot tub, pool, gym, a warm and comfortable lobby.. what more could you ask for? I will 100 percent be booking here again.”

“I was actually quite shocked at how good this place was for the price. It was an extremely easy check-in, completely done through after hours mailboxes. It's a millennial dream to not have to speak to a human being after a day of travel. I was thrilled. The rooms are extremely small which is to be expected, but the beds were comfortable and they provided a mini fridge, shampoo, body wash, lotion, plenty of towels and washcloths, of course TV. there's plenty of free parking and an outdoor space to smoke or relax although I didn't see anybody using it while we were here. there's no elevator, so if you can't take stairs you would have to get a bottom floor room. I thought it was really cute that they had a chair at the end of every floor on both sides for people who wanted to relax or smoke, with a cute plant right next to it. our floors did get the bottom of my feet black but otherwise the room was spotless and I doubt that was normal, they might have just missed a messy spot or something. overall this is going to be our place to stay going forward. it was within walking distance to the beach, although definitely not a quick walk. I'm sure people would be thrilled that there's a Starbucks across the street, although there are plenty of local coffee places that you should frequent instead. The liquor store across the street looked pretty solid too.”

“Perfect location to enjoy Rehoboth night life, beach, shopping, restaurants. Etc. Room clean and spacious. Staff INCREDIBLE. The manager, Mary, was above & beyond any staff at any hotel I've stayed in (which is most in DE!) Maintenance man Tim was amazing conversationalist and a true joy to meet. Everyone was amazing as were the facilities. Thank you all for a most enjoyable vacation. ❤”

“The room was a bit outdated and in need of a little fixing up, but it was clean when we arrived. We checked in late, as we were driving from out of town, but there was someone available & he was very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the back side of the hotel & was quiet. For the price & proximity to the beach/boardwalk area, it was worth it. A bit of a pain traveling to other areas, but not unmanageable.”

“It's a great place to stay close to the beach and the gay bars. An inexpensive option in town to lay your head after heavy drinking at the gay bars. Did not see anyone on check in or check out. Very close to Aqua and Blue Moon. Had dinner at Ava's across the street. That was really good pizza!”

“We don't live all that far from the hotel, but wanted a nice getaway for Super Bowl weekend. We saw we could get a room with a 2-person jacuzzi and the off-season pricing made it more compelling. I've stayed at the Ritz-Carlton a few times and they could learn a thing or two from this place. The service was simply amazing and the location can't be beat. One of the parrots took a liking to my wife and hopped on her shoulder a few times. You almost feel like you've gone back in time when you stay here.”
