Avoid Lingo Reality. We were unable to travel to Rehoboth Beach because of COVID-19 (the virus that changed the world) and they couldn’t care less, wouldn’t give us a refund or offer us the opportunity to reschedule at a later date. In which we would have been fine with. I feel sorry for the businesses in that town that now lose money because of Jack Lingo reality. All they kept saying is “the beaches are open” with no compassion to our situation. The fact that the beaches were open doesn’t change our situation Jack. Over 40 years of visiting Rehoboth Beach and rented from Lingo numerous times this is how we were treated.Update:their response below is that they don’t see a reservation under our name, really? clever response to make people think this isn’t real, It was the week of July 11-18... find it, and I’ve already called your office, you refused to help us and my wife was hung up on when she called, you want to make good? you call me and act like you careUpdate#2:4 months later and I still haven’t received a simple phone call from the Lingo family to show that they even care about their customer. They can say all they want about their policies but they have the ability to over ride any policy they create if they actually cared but they don’t. Taking our money during a world wide pandemic while expecting us to put ourselves in danger and not offering a refund to us is thievery. Don’t give these people your money, DO NOT RENT FROM JACK LINGO REALITY

I have rented a 3BR condo for the entire summer three years in a row from Jack Lingo. Their customer service is absolutely inexcusable. They only time they are prompt and courteous is when it's time to collect payment from you. Any other time, good luck! All three years they were late returning my security deposit - weeks and weeks late in violation of the lease agreement. All three years they withheld money for cleaning fees that are NOT required by the lease and NOT because of the condition of the property at the end of the lease. They just want to hire a cleaner and they force you to pay for it, even if it is spotless when you check out. This time, and it is the straw that broke the camel's back, they charged excessive additional fees for pre-existing damage to items we didn't even use! Never again. Never again. If you are deciding between Jack Lingo and some other company, don't hesitate to steer clear of Jack Lingo.

We recently stayed at a Jack Lingo property in Rehoboth Beach, DE. The property was located at 306 Laurel Street in Rehoboth. There was a group of six ladies that stayed at the house with us and we all agreed that the house was dirty and smelled like marijuana. When you walked up to the house, the fence, the front porch, the front porch furniture, were all in dire need of cleaning. The one main sitting spot in the house, the sofa, had numerous stains all over and felt dirty. The back porch furniture was even worse. The pool had not been cleaned when we arrived and even after the cleaning the following day, it was still filled with dirt and sand. We were charged a $300 fee to "heat" the pool (this was just a weekend stay) but the pool never warmed up enough to get in. The pool is heated from the "spa area" and is supposed to warm the whole pool but the heater turns off and on so you cannot keep it running long enough to heat the pool. I requested a refund for the pool heating and now three weeks later, I still have not heard back from Jack Lingo. Very disappointing.

We've had success working with Jack Lingo Realtor for many years to rent a family vacation home in Rehoboth Beach. Specifically, Amanda B. is very courteous, professional and responsive, as she always responds promptly and thoroughly to any questions and requests for help.

We rented a home in Rehoboth Beach for the fourth time this summer from Jack Lingo Realtors and can't say enough about their organization and responsiveness each year. Minimal house issues, all of which were resolved within hours, and the home was spotless when we arrived. The pick up of keys at the beginning is seamless and drop off at the end also easy. These folks know what they are doing!

Rented a condo through Lingo and had a great time. Our apt was near the pool. Rehoboth diner (best kept secret in Rehoboth!) was within walking distance, and we were off the main highway in a residential area. May rent the same place again next year,. Have gone through Lingo for the last 3 years and always good service.

I will start by saying we stayed in a beautiful home in a great location and the booking process was straight forward. However, I was appalled to find out that they let us check into and stay overnight in a house that had vomit on a rug. Of course the spot was in the room with two twin beds, where our son was sleeping. Ironically, we called to ask if we could park in the driveway to use the public facilities at the end of the street for 10 minutes after driving around for over an hour with a 2 year old and three month old and were told no because vendors, home owners or realtors may need the driveway (which had room for two Explorers). Meanwhile, they called to tell us a vendor was coming Sunday morning, the day after check in, to clean a few spots on the couches and would be in and out. When the vendor came, he asked about an orange spot on the rug. We had no idea what he was talking about. It was without a doubt vomit (see attached photo for your own judgement). When I called to address to undisclosed “orange spot” the realtor was extremely evasive and tried to act like she didn’t know about the stain. When I asked how the cleaner knew about the spot, she admitted she told him and said she had a picture. So how didn’t she know about it? She asked what I wanted her to do and I suggested they come up with something. She committed to talking to her manager but never called me back, even after a follow up call to speak with her. The stain was so bad and unable to be cleaned the vendor removed the entire rug.

We rented 19708 CHELMER DRIVE #12 in the Grand canal community Aug 4th-Aug 12th 2023 (3 BR 2 Bath). We were disappointed with the accomonidations. Here is what we found:1. Only one smart TV. It advertised 2, but it was not a smart TV--so i thought I would buy a Roku to solve my problem. The wireless internet could not support 2 streaming items. I thought that was crazy in this day?2. The bedding was the cheapest mattresses that could have possibley been purchased. They actually slid. Had a very hard time sleeping.3, Ants in kitchen and foyer...I contacted Sally and she said she would do something and contact owners. Never heard back from her.....I purchased ant spray and treated....4. Living room seatine is only for 5 persons even though rated for 6 person.5. Kitchen supplies, just barely adequate.6. When we arrived the unit had not been cleaned. They did send out a team to clean it immediately but it was about 6-7 p before they were done.7. AC filter had not been changed it 2 years.8 Coffee maker was an old Krup that requried those special filters. Sally was kind enough to pick them up.Very dissapointed.

We had a great experience renting from Jack Lingo the past 2 summers in Rehoboth Beach. The house we rented was in mint condition and had plenty of room for our crew of 14. Our agent, Sarah, promptly answered any questions we had. Of course, we love Rehoboth Beach. We will definitely rent again next year with Jack Lingo Realtors.

Jack Lingo realty was so easy to check in and out for my Rehoboth Beach rental this past July. They were very pleasant and expedient. When I emailed them with an issue on our door lock, they responded immediately. I really appreciated that!

Very responsive and helpful! This review might be a little different - because we did encounter some unexpected equipment failure. The rental space was exactly what we were looking for and accommodated our family of 5 very well. It was clean, and supplied with all of the kitchen supplies we needed. Unexpectedly, and beyond the control of the rental agent - the air conditioning was not working correctly. Amanda, our representative from Lingo was immediately responsive - even early on a Sunday morning. She was able to get an after hours HVAC service to the rental within a couple of hours. Upon discovering that this was not an easy fix (replacement parts needed to be ordered) she was able to get stand alone AC units brought in so that we were able to continue to enjoy our stay. I appreciate all that she did and we plan to return to the same rental next year if it is available when we plan to go!

This summer was our 4th trip to Delaware and our 1st time renting with Jack Lingo. The insurance and credit card fees were high so that's why I didn't give 5 stars. We would rather a lower security deposit available than the insurance. And we would prefer to book our vacations on a credit card instead of pay check. But the property was well cared for and clean. Checkout and in were both easy. We would consider renting a vacation property with Jack Lingo again.

Our house this year was a bit dirty with mold in the showers. And we paid extra to heat the pool and it never heated. We inquired and got minimal response. Then our one sunny day - a pool cleaner came and disrupted our use for hours. They should have at least offered to refund the pool heating charge. In past bookings they've been more responsive but this home is also listed for sale for 3 million so I suspect they didn't want to upset the owner. In general - I enjoy renting with Lingo but this time disappointed. I also dislike that they charge extra to use credit cards but seems to be the standard these days. Make every penny count!

Our family has been coming to Rehoboth Beach for the past six years. Only once did we pick a different realtor and we were very disappointed with the house we rented that year. We love the house on Hickman. It has everything we need and a space for everyone to relax and enjoy the week at the beach. This year we almost lost our scheduled week. Due mainly to working with a new agent at Lingo who didn’t put in the time to contact us The week we ended up with suited us better any way.
