Horrible experience at the Rehobath beach Safeway. We made appoints for vaccine shots through the Safeway web site. After arriving we were informed by the Pharmacist to wait for the Tech. There was one couple ahead of us who had an appointment as well. The technician came out and boldly stated WE (I) only give inoculations between 10-2 - so we were SOL. We explained to SUSAN that we made the appointment through the Safeway web site, and furthermore there were no visible signs posted by the pharmacy. At this point SUSAN became rude, obnoxious and acted like a tyrant. We immediately went to the store manager Tom who apologized and stated he would speak to her. We will never shop at this store. The one star rating goes to the store manager.

Thank goodness for Alvrick!! Only person in there that was actually there for the customers!! Whoever the old man on self checkout was today(8/27) at 3:20, really should just retire and stop being so unkind to people. Customer service shouldn't have to be begged for. Shame on you.

The worst customer service ever. During the first year of covid my husband and I ( latino) were discriminated by the staff. At the checkout the staff was talking between them that people like us( latino) shouldn't come to the state and the store. This is all wrong to start with. But I told them, we own a house in Rehoboth beach and they kept going like the governor shouldn't allow people to come here bla bla bla. Then I came the second time to return the dog food container I bought at the first time and a totally different staff from the customer service didn't want to accept it ( a dog food container) making jokes with someone else that I used it and was trying to get the money back even tough it was never used. So so rude

Worst experience ever for the pull up service. Followed all the directions, waited for the email letting me know my order ( with 3 items was ready) drove 10 minutes to the store, parked and texted. No response, the app said I had waited to long to call, number busy 3 times, waited 30 minutes. Left my car running as my 16 year old dog was with me , so I walked inside to find the manager on the phone so I interrupted him, as he stared at me. A young girl approached and said she would get my order. When I went back to my car another vehicle had pulled into a spot next to mine (also with a small dog) and I saw him distressed). I waited 15 minutes and this time TOOK MY 16 year old dog in the store and said to the manager.. " is there an issue??" He informed me she was still getting my order( remember I had 3 items). I went out.. 5 minutes later she comes out with 2 carts!!! And asks if I will watch them while she goes back in and grabs my order ???!!! I took the cart of food to the other car( he was very apologetic ( not his fault) ... she came out with my bag and a case of water. I didn't really say anything to her, she wasn't properly trained or supervised. The store manger needs to be replaced. BTW she had marked my order as delivered the 1st time I walked in the store, I didn't receive it for approx 35 after that
