We stored our belongings for 1 month and were required to buy insurance. I photographed the inside of the unit to document how our items fit inside. Upon delivery to our home the movers noticed the blanket covering the hope chest was soaked. The chest was soaking wet as it sat in this wet blanket the whole month. I immediately took pictures and submitted a claim. I was insulted at their questioning as if I was stupid! They did everything they could to defend their property - at my expense!! They delayed any attention to my requests. 4 months later I get a letter saying I waited too long, there is no evidence they are to blame and they denied my claim. Do NOT place your belongings at this facility!! They make you buy insurance but don’t cover you! They have unethical business practices and treated me horribly!
Added: if you’re that concerned you’ll reopen my case and make this right! This standard automatic reply is unacceptable!!
