We just came back from a week at Dewey beach. The beaches were wonderful. The Surfrider was horrible! I wish we knew Dewey Beach was a party town. The Surfrider is above two bars. It’s not a place for a family vacation. We didn’t get much sleep during our stay. The police and ambulance were frequent visitors. If you are a party goer or you do not mind excessive noise, then you’re fine. The real estate office is not straightforward with this information. A lot of drunks. There is a reason that the local transport is called the “Jolly Trolley”.

Very noisy, high speed internet is equivalent to dial up speeds, and beds are not very comfortable. The only real positive is the location. Would not stay again.

We rented out this condo for my friend's bachelorette party and it was PERFECT. A little dated, but very roomy, 2 story condo, with 3 bedrooms (2 twins, 2 doubles, 1 king), and a pull out couch. Best part is, we were able to rent it out just for the weekend which is very rare in Dewey! As for the location - couldn't be more perfect! Right in the heart of Dewey making it a very quick walk to the beach, Starboard, Ruddertown, and anywhere else you'd like to go! Staff was very accommodating, and let us keep the parking passes for an extra hour or two after check out so we could go to breakfast. Also, there was a collection of community beach chairs which were a very nice touch. Would definitely stay here again!
