Can't find a better hotel in the area for the nightly rate than The Oceanus. It's well-furnished, clean, and conveniently located to the beach as well as a wide array of restaurants and novelty stores. It sustains maximum hospitality even through lower activity tourist seasons, my stays here were in October.

The folks at Oceanus have the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time! I’ve had the worst luck all summer long with both my dog and myself getting sick right before this and other trips. I had to reschedule twice and everyone was so nice and understanding! Huge shoutout to Gayle, Jean, and Dan! I’ll definitely make a point to stay with them next year when it’s time to hit the beach!!
Now excuse me as I spend my weekend pouting that I’m not wiggling my toes in the sand…

Booked this hotel last minute for a 2 night trip with my daughter and honestly it's been a great stay. The rooms are clean, service is super friendly, the pool is nice, it's quiet and it's in a great location for walking around Rehobeth. Will certainly come back again. A*

What an amazing place to stay! From the point of check in with Jean who is just lovely.. all the through our stay was just perfect! Our room was spotless and cleaning staff was so sweet if you needed anything extra. Great location to the whole town and the beach! Would absolutely stay here again! Checking out I had a great conversation with Jean who knew all the good restaurants which we should have asked about but did ok picking ourselves. Wish we thought to ask her ahead of time. Also other guests were so kind as well. Absolutely a 5 star motel!

We have stayed at this place for four or more years. It’s got a super location right off Rehobeth Avenue and about four blocks from the boardwalk. It’s quite close to one of our favorite hangouts the Robin Hood diner. A place I have gone for 60 years. The essence of what a diner should be. The management at the Oceanus are very friendly and helpful. Surprisingly enough it’s quiet even though it’s right near the action. It’s popular though, so rent far ahead.
Nearby activities: Nearby is Candy Ktchen, Funland, Grotto pizza, Kohr’s custard, cream, and the rest of the whole junkie wonderful scene that is Rehoboth.
Walkability: You can walk to the attractions of Rehoboth Avenue and the boardwalk in about 10 minutes

Staff was wonderful. We arrived early and they called me when our room was ready. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. 5 minutes walk to the beach.

The Oceanus is a great place to stay in Rehoboth. The staff are nice from housekeeping to management, all are friendly, professional and helpful.

The kindest staff and cleanest spot. You’re treated like family here. It’s so close to everything at the same price of other places behind the outlets. Walking distance to everything and a very peaceful and friendly environment.
Nearby activities: Rehoboth Ave and Boardwalk are so close.
Walkability: Beach is 2 blocks away

I’m so confused as to why this place is listed as a “two star” stay. While it’s true that it might be a “motel”, the rooms and service were on par with any 4-star hotel you can find like the Holiday Inn!
The rooms were updated, clean, and comfortable. The air conditioning kept the room chilled despite the 90° weather and its location (literally around the corner from the main shopping, dining, and nightlife and a few blocks from the beach) can’t be beat!
The staff were amicable and helpful and they made check-in a breeze! The bathrooms were clean and stocked and the bathtub had to have been the CLEANEST bathtub I’ve ever seen at a public accommodation including at actual 4-star hotels! While we didn’t use the pool, it has clearly been well-maintained and crystal clear clean.

Always a good time. Perfectly located in Rehoboth, so close to the beach, all the bars and room 300 is the best. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. Nice touch with a pool, have not used it but it can see people enjoy that amenity. AC always in working order and bathroom is up to par. Decor is a bit dated but in good condition. The balconies are good for people watching and certain rooms can see all the way down to the beach. The street can be a bit noisy but never anything getting upset over.

As first-time visitors to Rehoboth Beach, DE, we spent five nights at The Oceanus, and it was worth every penny! The room was sufficient (double beds my only regret), but the customer service was outstanding, and the two block walk to the Atlantic Ocean was a huge advantage in this charming beach town. The staff were perfect! We’ll definitely return to the Oceanus for our next visit to Rehoboth!

Great place to be at. I highly recommend it. Awesome staff. 5 stars all across the board in my opinion.Nearby activities: You are just off the strip. Convenient location.Walkability: You are well within walking distance to the beach and anything in between.Noteworthy details: You're basically like two blocks from the beach, and there are tons of places to eat and/or shop at between Oceanus and the beach, which makes it perfectly convenient to grab a meal or supplies, no matter which direction you're headed.
