We joined Wells Fargo so we would have a nationwide bank to rely on while traveling around.
This branch in Rehoboth Beach was our local bank and we have been using it for deposits and various transactions.
When I needed a notary, we called to schedule and it was all set up for the following week.
Then only one hour prior to our appointment we received a call from the notary that we were supposed to meet with, Mark Owlsly.
He was asking us a bunch of questions in what we needed notarized.
Shouldn’t that branch ASKED THOSE QUESTIONS WHEN WE MADE THE APPOINTMENT?
He then stated that they could not do notarizing per their regulations.
He continued to ‘educate” and berate me on the phone with many excuses and no help.
No customer service here!
We had to then drive an hour away to get the notary service done.

They have no help. You wait 30mins at window on the weekend. They probably need to consider better salaries. WellsFargos has tons of assets

These people have no idea what they’re doing. Do not trust this bank Location. Or find another bank location for Wells Fargo, or just find another bank

No regard for customers time. Made a noon appointment two weeks in advance specifying exactly what we needed, only to be kept waiting until 12:30, interrupted multiple times and then told he didn't have time to open the accounts and that we needed to make another appointment. If customer service is at all important to you, look elsewhere.

I just googled this Wells Fargo branch to double check their hours and happened to see the reviews. I felt compelled to comment since my experience was so different than others. We are new to the area and have been a customer for about thirty years. I have banking relationships with several other banks as well. Regarding this branch in Lewes/Rehoboth, I have had a very positive experience. The tellers have provided very good customer service for the handful of times that I have gone in.

They do not care about customers. This is clear by even their Manager's arrogance and fake niceness as she fawns over high dollar clients at the expense of less well off clientele. This institution is not known for taking a real interest in its clients.

I’ve been banking for 42 years with the majority at Wells Fargo.Today I had the displeasure of dealing with the rudest teller I’ve ever came across.If it wouldn’t be so much trouble I would leave Wells Fargo altogether.

Mike, the banker is one of the best employees I have ever dealt with in my entire life. So professional and kind and polite… Mike did something no one else would ever do…he was so helpful. 5 STARTS for this branch because mike is working there.

If I could give WF a minus 10 stars I would. After being with them for 42 years, they hold a check for no reason with no notice or warning or anything. Horrible. I’m leaving this bank and going elsewhere.

Absolutely horrible service. I do have account with Wells Fargo, but this location and lack of professionalism is absolutely astonishing.
