This is Andy Wayson writing this review. I'm using my girlfriend, Melanie's Google account since I don't have one. I recently bought a used RV. During the process I needed to secure financing. I quickly became frustrated as I searched several online Companies. They all wanted me to fill out online applications. I'm old school and don't like doing it that way. None of them had a number to call and speak with a human, until I found Tidemark FCU in Seaford Delaware. I called the number and Pamela Varvaro answered. She had a very friendly voice and told me they handled RV loans. When I asked her about their terms, she got straight to the point. To my joy they were the best I had heard over anyone else. Pamela made the process super simple and guided me through it like a Pro. She made my sale streamline and it was great working with her. I'm a customer for life and have told others about how impressed I was with her and Tidemark FCU. If you need everyday banking or a loan of any type. I highly recommend Tidemark FCU !!! My experiance with Tidemark was very good. I always delt with Rehoboth branch. 5 stars for them. But the other branches have been difficult to deal with. Making bank transfers to them from PNC are often denied for verification of funds. The app is buggy. Often, can't access, and when i do, it states that there is no information available. I am transferring all my funds to PNC bank. They are much more useful and helpful. I am very disappointed in how difficult things have become with Tidemark.

This bank is a joke. Social Security sent my check in on a Wednesday and they will not release the funds until Monday. While they are holding my money they are making interest off of me while i have to struggle to make it through the weekend. They had the nerve to ask me why i wanted my funds releases.....umm its my money. Will be closing my account when my check is finally released.

Edit 1/20/22---this branch has made an overwhelmingly positive comeback and I have not had any issues for quite some time. I'm very happy to see the improvement of the machines and I really appreciate the reliability this place now offers. From 1 to 5 stars instantly.

The Seaford branch is awesome! I would definitely recommend banking with Tidemark. They are up to date on technology, and if you need assistant with their machines, they are always there to help you! I have nothing bad to say about Tidemark!

Dear Tidemark FCU;I wish that your "fraud department" had done their job correctly and actually investigated this fraudulent company, but you did not and then you reversed my temporary chargeback. As I have stated before several times, I was illegally REDIRECTED from a legitimate website, CATO Fashions, and I thought I was purchasing items from CATO and NOT "Western Tags". I have never heard of this shady so-called "company". They evidently stole some info and images from CATO and other websites, created their own website and a fake Facebook page, posted false positive reviews that cannot be verified, and scam people out of their hard earned money. I was charged $114.16 for junk that came in an unmarked package from overseas, return address nonexistent (PO Box invalid), no packing slip, no tags on any of the junky clothes, no notification that the package was delivered nearly a month after the order, and no point of contact to try to initiate a return. The clothes were NOT CATO fashions, looked like something out of a Dollar Tree, were of various sizes, some damaged and sewn together incorrectly so that they couldn't even be tried on. I have been trying with no luck to get ANYONE to respond to my emails, and there is no customer service phone number. They say that they accept returns with a 15 day period, but how could anyone do that when it takes a month to receive the merchandise? These awful "clothes" were supposed to be a Christmas present.

This is a terrible bank. They do NOT advocate for their members. They reversed a chargeback to my account after I was the victim of a SCAM. Since then, I have not even heard back from them regarding this issue. I am done. Closing our accounts. We USED to have six figures invested in this bank. What a shame. (The member services department number on the letter (302-629-0100), by the way, never did get back to me after I called and explained everything again. I am also going to contact VISA , the FTC, and the Department of Justice with this information. I will keep fighting until I get my money back. I will also warn others about this so that they know that Tidemark FCU does NOT advocate for their members.

Unethical & deceptive business practices. The one Seaford branch manager lied right to my husband’s and my face with their own document of incorrect nsf fees. This why people don’t trust banks. We chose to give them our debit cards and checkbook back. Giving them a “little responsibility” to try to establish trust with them was prudence well planned because we would never do business with them again or recommend them to anyone else. They are not worth it at all. It’s a shame that when trying to get business, they screw it up for themselves from the start.

Tidemark Federal Credit union met with both my husband and myself today and could not explain why there were NSF fees in our savings account for no reason this week. We paid a couple small bills in our checking account and there is still a positive amount in both checking and savings. There were NO reasons why the bank should have attempted to impose any NSF fees in our savings account. I am exposing Tidemark for their errors and blatant Irresponsible manner in not accepting any accountability for their clear wrong doing. We took our debit cards, our checks, the ledger book, their little promotional letter to us for being approved for an overdraft account which we have no interest in either. We returned that letter and kindly said No thank you after there blatant theft from us this week and lying straight to our face. We are very relieved that we chose NOT to do direct deposit with them too! We are waiting for the 1 check to clear the bank #2001, in the amount of $12.00. People do not Trust banks for a Reason! Paying your bills by Money order and being without a bank has showed continuous success! We are choosing to stay on tract without a bank.
