I am extremely disappointed with the service at this USPS location. It is clear that certain customers are given preferential treatment, while others are left waiting and treated rudely. Upon my interaction with the clerk i left and went to Bridgeville. This location deserves 0 stars.

When you arrive...turn around get back in your car and drive to the Bridgeville post office. I hope this post office gets vending machines and self service label printers to replace the people that do not want to work at the Seaford post office.

I live Georgetown, and drive all the way here to use this post office because they had had such cold, rude people working in Georgetown and after many complaints, not mine, he's still there... where's Seaford ALWAYS has pleasant, prompt helpful service! I love them!

Extremely upset 😡 clerk was completely rude and wrote on my package that needs to be mailed.
Where is the unwritten rule that priority packages must be sent the day of? I work 12 hour days and that is impossible to send it out til at least the next day or sometimes a few days later! Now I have to repack this package !!!!
I have never had any issues sending my packages out a few days later. I had to make a trip to the post office just to pick these back up! Like what we're you gonna do hold my packages hostage until Monday? I feel like they pick and choose when it's gonna be a problem!

Nothing in the way of a pleasant experience with any of the clerks with exception of one whom always remains consistently helpful above and beyond. No names need mentioned. Your excellence ,and lack there of it speak for them selves at this facility. It’s a shame some in this position see this job as merely a pay check when we have so much more to be thankful for of its history and future of the United States post office.

I had a package to mail off for a customer of mine on eBay. I packed it up the night before, printed the label and got it ready to drop off to the post office the next morning. When I went in, the gentleman told me that I can’t mail something with a label dated for the day before. I’ve been doing this for YEARS and he was loud and it was quite embarrassing and degrading. I guess I need to use UPS or FedEx from now on. Never had an issue until now.

I came in to drop a prepaid package off at the Seaford Post Office and the clerk told me she couldn't ship it because the label wasn't dated for today. I printed the label out the night before. So I went to the Sharptown Post Office that day on my way home and they took it and mailed it. Talking about stupid!

Rude staff. My lock fell out of my mailbox so I called USPS to have it repaired. They gave me a case number and told me to go to my local branch to have it expedited. Called Bridgeville, turns out Seaford handles our mail so the woman from Bridgeville gave me their number and warned me they never answer. Tried to call, no answer. Showed up to Seaford and was told that the case numbers mean nothing and the only way to have it fixed was coming here and it wouldn't be done until Tuesday. Held my mail until Tuesday. I get an email and phone call today stating that it's been fixed (thanks to the case number I was told wouldn't do anything by the way) and that I could come get my keys.I come in today to get my keys, and fhe gentleman behind the counter I believe his name was Horace, was rude trying to tell me I owed $25. To which his superior told him I do not owe $25. Then I asked to have my mail un-held and he said "would have been nice to know that" went off and came back with a paper saying it's been sent to Bridgeville. I explained Bridgeville telling me that they don't handle it, Seaford does. And he underlined each word and said "see where it says SENT, TO, BRIDGEVILLE"I'm not sure why the staff here is miserable, but maybe someone should look into that. Very disappointing.
