After receiving a pretty favorable offer from Citizens via the mail shortly after moving to the area, I made the error of going into the branch. The teller a black woman spoke to me in a condescending and quite belittling tone. She also didn’t listen and respond to my inquiry and instead offered information I hadn’t asked about. In her defense the information I was seeking was on the back side of the paperwork I provided her. I simply wanted to be in compliance with the stipulations and thought going inside the bank would provide some clarity. I almost never go inside banks and I certainly believe I should’ve been handled a little more friendlier, even if what I was looking for was already in my possession. I’m human and I make errors. I just don’t think my bank should belittle me when I do.

Fraud charge that asked for help on A WEEK AGO is still on my acct. After spking with several assoiates on HOLD FOR 20 MIN EACH CALL still no freakin help. I decided to call the branch i open my acct. With, do you i had help NO! The questioned me on where i work at and what im off after she had me on the phone for 15-20 mins explaining the freaking situation and informing i work in a different and not able to physically walk in as the bank is close when im off. She still (not listening to me had explain all this) to say oh well i cant do anything for u over the ph. U can go to any branch t(-_-t) yea ill go, CLOSE MY ACCT. TURN AWAY IF UR LOOKING FOR BANK TO ACTUALLY HELP U

Please be aware before opening account at citizens completely. I received a promotion to open a checking account for a bonus because citizens says they value you and want your business. That is a complete lie. I was supposed to get paid the bonus within 90 days after meeting requirements. 93 days pass and I called customer service which was no help at all and could never get a straight answer. Employees in the bank never like responding to messages. I went in their and the manager stated we will take care of this and everything was sent up to their marketing team to be looked into. I got a call two days later stating the code given to me was not valid which the person opening my account stated it was a valid code for promotion at time of opening. I should have known better than to waste my time with this money hungry bank. If I could have given negative stars I would have. If I had millions in bank account then citizens bank would care if they were going to lose my business or anyone else.

All the guys who work there especially John, are very helpful and friendly but Sharan the older lady, would be nice if she smiles once in awhile..her daughter who works in the glass office up front, she has no clue how to even do a basic thing without asking Sharan..it sucks because I been a customer for over 15 years and now I'm thinking about transferring my money to del one..
