“*** SEE UPDATE BELOW*** I recommend only choosing this vet if you are very close to them and won't have any possibility of traffic or rescheduling. My kittens had stomach troubles and we were given too little of the prescription food (not entirely their fault but would have liked a bit more guidance on it) so we had to drive an hour (30 minutes there and back) 3 days in one week. On top of that, we had two appointments for their rabies shots and because of the distance we were 15 minutes late due to traffic (that is our bad in that regard), but did not expect them to turn away the kittens. They said they only had time for one kitten's shot when in the past they had done all their shots at the same exact time so I have no idea why they couldn't do that once again. On top of that, the soonest to reschedule would be a whole 2 weeks after!!! Admittedly, I would like to give them 1 or 2 stars at the moment because I think that how this specific instance was handled deserved it, but I believe that overall I would be lying if I did less that 3 stars. I like their no fear policy, and think that they generally are decent, but like I said, too far of a drive to be turned away after 15 minutes late and to have there be so few rescheduling appointments available.UPDATE*** We received a call from the owner and they took the time to hear and understand our frustrations and came to the conversation very understanding. They also worked to problem solve in a very empathetic way. I am used to vets/doctors treating patients/customers any way they want with no accountability (or compassion) on their end taken, and I had expected this place to be doing the same thing. However, the owner here is very understanding of the patient perspective. I revoke my statement from earlier about only going to this vet if you are close by. If you are willing/able to communicate about your schedule it would be very worth it to go to this vet (at least for cats as that is my experience).”
