Horrifying moving experience. I want to post my review because it seems like this moving company has received decent reviews and I wouldn't want anyone to go through the same experience I did based on old reviews. Owner quoted my move without even coming to my home prior to my move to see contents therefore did not have enough trucks for moving day. Gave him a rough estimate & requested an additional truck. Movers damaged almost every single piece of furniture they touched. At several points I contacted the owner Andre to make him aware they were breaking items of ours within 30 minutes of packing it on their truck. Then one of the movers actually kicked my broken ceramic vase in the grass and told another mover not to say anything to hide the fact they were breaking our items!!! Andre was made aware. Realtors, among many others witnessed them damaging our furniture on moving day. Those same witnesses also voiced concern over smelling marijuana coming from their moving truck. After the move once damages were all accessed we tried to come to a settlement for damages with the owner. He would not refund any of our money however promised to send out his furniture repair guy to atleast try to repair broken items. His furniture repair guy said this was the worst in damages he's ever seen in his 30 years of business. Once this estimate was provided to Andre he went back on his word and wouldn't pay for the furniture repairs. We were left with all the damages after the move. Disgraceful business practice. Lastly, wanted to mention his movers will move as slow as humanly possible to run the clock on your tab. Several people inquired on moving day asking why they were moving so slow and at some points not doing anything at all. I'm sure the owner will make excuses for this poor review since he tends to put blame on the customer. BEWARE BEFORE HIRING

Overall pleased with the experience. Crew was courteous, came ready to work, attacked, and moved quick as possible. The crew lead was in good shape, a beast, and the one responsible for doing most of the furniture assembly and he was awesome, but I think it would be more efficient for the other guys to be up to par as well. As with any moving team there's always that one semi dangerous knucklehead you have to watch to make sure they don't hurt them self or damage your property. The guys worked hard and were burnt afterwards:) The owner was pleasant to work with from the quote process to adjusting the charges based on circumstances involving the move. Working with ASC moving was definitely the best decision. It was the best move I’ve ever had. The movers were efficient, mindful and responsive. There were no surprise charges-the bill came in very close to the estimate. I will definitely use them for my next move.

I used this service on October 9th, 2020 and I would NOT recommend using them. The manager (who is very courteous and professional) has no authority over the movers who lack integrity and professionalism. The movers did arrive at my residence on time at 8:00 AM, and although they carried a very pungent aroma of marijuana and the lead mover did NOT WEAR A MASK, they assessed what needed to be moved and got right to work. After a couple of hours they let me know they would be taking a short break and that “by the way” they wouldn’t be able to move my son’s mattress, and that they would have to inspect my bedroom furniture before being able to load it. My son’s bedroom had bed bugs over a year ago and his mattress had been protected by a bed bug encasement so the mattress itself was brand new and totally devoid of any markings or evidence that any bed bug had ever touched it. They knew that because they took the time to remove the encasement before telling me they couldn’t take it. They tell me then that it’s their policy. Okay, if it’s your policy not to move furniture in a home that ever had bed bugs, why touch the encasement? I digress. He then asked if he could have an end table I was throwing away, I said he could help himself. He then inspects my bedroom (which has never had bed bugs) and says he can’t tell so he’s not even moving my furniture. (After knocking on it and asking if it was real granite, and if it was still this heavy after I’d removed everything) I have white linens and it would be VERY easy to see if any bed bugs were ever present. I reminded him that he said he would inspect the furniture and take it if there was no evidence. My furniture is the heaviest in the house and it had to go. He called his supervisor and then told me that his supervisor will only let him move everything but my bed and started to take apart the dresser to move it, so I asked to speak to the supervisor. The supervisor calls me and tells me IT IS NOT HIS CALL, but it is UP TO THE MOVER. So the mover is a liar. While I tried to explain to the mover the extent I went through to ensure that there were no bed bugs present (because I didn’t want the chance of taking them to my new house) he cursed at me, raised his voice, talked over me and all in front of my child. He then said no moving company would move my furniture (untrue...how does he think I got there?) and started to clear out. He sent the other mover up to do my walk through. I asked about the dresser and chest that he said he would take and he said he wasn’t taking it. As I asked him about what he said, he turned and walked out. While I was MID- WORD. I called the supervisor back and told him what happened. He called the mover and he denied ever telling me that he would move the rest of my furniture. ANOTHER LIE! If he didn’t plan to move my dresser, why take it apart? And if everything in my home was so infested, WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO TAKE MY TABLE HOME? The supervisor apologized but repeated there’s nothing he can do. He can only ask the movers to do what they’re “comfortable” doing. Excuse me? So if they’re comfortable lying to customers, that’s okay? The supervisor however, was very professional and did make some adjustments to my final bill. Not enough to make up for the hour that all this confusion took place while they were on the clock, but it was still something. I would never use a company again that allows their employees to act like owners and treat customers however they want. I also mentioned the mover not wearing a mask and he told me not to worry because they visit a nursing home weekly so they have to get tested. ??? So, he couldn’t have picked up COVID on the way over here? He’s worried about bed bugs that don’t exist but I’m supposed to be okay with him walking around my house without a mask? Okay. I also mentioned the smell of marijuana. It was so strong my son kept asking what was that smell. The supervisor told me that’s hard to believe because they’re drug tested. I was floored.

We were very worried about moving from Delaware to New Jersey but ASC moving provided great seamless moving and eased our worries. Their cost is very reasonable. Andres is very responsive to emails and phone. Our truck driver Joe was very helpful and careful in handling our stuff.

This is the best moving company ever. Received a fast appointment date. The 2 gentlemen were very nice and polite. Did everything I asked of them and they wrapped my TVs, glass from tables, dressers, and refrigerator. They were just awesome!!!!!

Hands down the best! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have utilized a lot of movers over the years since college, and this was truly THE best experience I’ve EVER had. My guys (Al & Matt) were absolutely amazing! They treated us like family on the move day. They were professional, courteous and extremely thorough. Their patience and attention to detail left a lasting impression on us. Matt & Al took excellent care of all of my family’s items. I will absolutely use ASC in the future and will without hesitation refer them to family, friends and coworkers! Thanks guys.... I’m forever grateful!!!!

Poor customer service. They don't return remails or phone calls. Minimum 3 hours which includes 30 minutes of travel time even if they are down the street is outrageous. Quoted me almost $700 to move three rooms of furniture from a small house into a garage and they were .8 miles away. Clearly, they only want big jobs after having told me that they will do smaller jobs. Bait and switch. Be careful.

Well, that was an experience. While the front office and crew were professional and personable in their demeanor, and worked steadily, they were not adept at moving difficult objects. They had a hard time taking down a piece that was taken upstairs, marking up my walls and damaging the piece in the process. Another piece was damaged but that was likely due to old glue, not anything they did incorrectly. I also noticed that they tended to make more work for themselves, which isn't a huge negative but if they are taking additional time, then it is. But I did not get that sense. Perhaps they are more skilled than I know and that my house did not require the panoply of skills they might have but it was hard to tell. Another frustration was how they listened to instruction. Admittedly, I talk fast, think fast and expect people to keep up but that didn't happen. I could have made myself more explicit up front so I didn't have to manage the process, and perhaps I should have. Now I have many boxes in the wrong rooms. Or perhaps it would not have made a difference if I was more explicit. I packed myself and marked boxes with breakable objects in boxes with 8x11 white labels showing them as "fragile". It didn't matter and many boxes came back crushed. When I looked into the back of the truck, boxes and totes were stacked 5-7 deep and the ones on the bottom were crushing. Finally, they left a few of my things wrapped up and I needed to unwrap those and clean up after them. It's a damn good thing I know something about movers; In packing and instructions, I always assume the worst handling and pack accordingly. So with luck, I don't find more damage. Pros: Reasonable rates; very professional front office; personable crews that worked hard; none of the "movers games" that you hear so much about; finished in only 75% of the original estimated time. Cons: Charges a fee to take credit cards, movers aren't as skilled as others I've see; damage to furniture that made many prior moves, and stacking boxes/bins with abandon. In sum, I would use them again if I had less to move (and less to pack), and did not have all of the weight that they moved. And if I could move sensitive items separately.

ASC did a great job with my move. Matt, Mick, Joe and Dondre were on time and responsive to our needs. This was not an easy job but they were dauntless. They moved, in a few hours, what it'll take me weeks to unpack. With all the hassle of relocating, I'm glad the hardest part has been taken care of.
