I have been a customer for 10+ years. Now today im being declined access to my funds. No one at this branch is willing to take a call to help. Bank somewhere else if you would like access to your money.

My entire experience with Charles Schwab has been immensely frustrating. My identity was stolen and when I called Charles Schwab it took over an hour, and connecting me to over six different employees for them to resolve the matter and put in a ticket to close the fraudulent account. Despite these frustrations I had still intended on opening a Roth IRA. I came into the physical office in hopes of an employee assisting me through the process and maxing out my investment. Instead I was directed to a laptop with no assistance. Instead of driving all around Wilmington to get to their office I could’ve sat in my pajamas and done this at home. The laptop advised me that I already had an account which I mentioned to the gentleman at the desk, yet he did not seem concerned at all and just left the problem for me to solve. At this point I had had enough and just walked out. I will invest my money with a business that offers quality customer service and not a run around.

I had a rollover check mailed to the branch. It's been three weeks and it has not been deposited, so I ask if they received it. They said checks are forwarded to Orlando and then gave me a number to call. Is this what is passing for customer service now?

Excellent service and unbeatable expense fees! The service has consistently been excellent at the branch or over the phone. Recently the decision to move away from downtown Wilmington to Greenville was best decision ever, no parking garage and best area overall. Top notch advisors too!

After numerous (6) attempts to explain why....Charles Schwab has charged me a $50.00 fee to transfer my IRA to a credit union.
