I really like Dr. Powell's concern for my wellbeing, her personality and her willingness to think out of the box for my health concerns. I've been going to her for over 15 years.

I was having some issues in my pregnancy Monday Veterans day Nov. 11, enough to call the office. I figured I could get the on call doctor or the office since it was a holiday. There was no option for the on call doctor so I left a message. I tried again after 4:30 and suddenly an option for the on call doctor. I spoke to them and they recommended I go to the Christiana Care Maternity Triage. So I did. I was triaged and waited over 5 hours, I left before I was seen. There were women on the floor puking next to me, the bathroom was disgusting where they had me give a urine sample. There is no security people just get buzzed back without any question. So the next day I called the office again trying to get an appointment because I was still concerned and again no answer, left a voicemail. Left another voicemail on the nurses line. I was never called back. I took myself to Chester County Hospital and my issues were severe enough I was admitted. The only call I received back was when I requested to have my medical records transferred. Even then they didnt ask why I was changing my care. I am really disappointed and disgusted how I was treated and they don't even have the courtesy to call me back. I bet they wont forget to send me a bill.
This was strike 3/4 for me with this practice. Previously I had some bleeding very early on and called in and basicallyI was told by the on call doc if your having a miscarriage theres nothing we can do, which may be true but could have been said with more care. Christiana also let a student do my NIPT test and she missed my veins so many times I turned white and passed out. Pushing back the test and having to have it done again at a later date. I very strongly do not recommend this practice as a first time mom im already anxious and this has not helped at all.

PCP sent a referral to Greenville since I'm new to the area and had issues. It took them a month to call and tell me they are not accepting new patients. Funnily enough, their website states the majority of the doctors here are accepting new patients.
If you choose to lie to potential patients, please make up a lie that's not so easily debunked. That's ignorant and uncalled for.

I hate to leave a negative review. There were a few providers I loved at this practice, especially midwife Dana and Dr. McClure (hence two stars). But the administration is dreadfully disorganized, to the point where I felt like I was not getting good care.
During my previous pregnancy, I went to an appointment, and the doctor told me I was getting a prescription for an antibiotic for my infection. No one had ever told me I had an infection! Evidently they had found it at my previous appointment but didn’t communicate that to me. I asked what it was, and they said a UTI. I took the whole round of antibiotics and asked them to check if it was cleared up the next time - only to be told I never had a UTI. I had Group B strep. Not okay.
I understand that mistakes happen, so I was willing to give the practice another shot for my third pregnancy. However, I didn’t know how far along I was and called for a script to get bloodwork and a dating ultrasound. It took them five whole business days to get a doctor to sign a script for me, even after I called several times to “pester” them about it. I don’t think it should take that long for such a simple thing as signing a script!
They are currently completely unresponsive after I have repeatedly called them about a prescription I need them to fill.
I am switching practices, much as I want to stay with Dr. McClure and Dana. Needless to say, this level of disorganization is unprofessional and unacceptable. It says without words that care of my baby and me is not as important to them as it ought to be (even though I know that isn’t true of the providers I mentioned above). I would not recommend this practice.

Again love the doctors but I had a 3:30 appointment that they picked for me. Took me back at 4 and still had not been seen by 4:30. I will be switching practices this is just uncalled for! And good luck ever getting an appointment

My wife went in for an appointment and I accompanied her as I translate for her. Dr. Davis was talking to my wife and I like we were children. She really made my wife feel uncomfortable and humiliated. The way she was speaking to us was in a very condescending manner. She was talking to us like we were stupid, even though I speak English properly.

Let's first be clear, the Doctors are great and knowledgeable, and I WANT to give 5 STARS, but everything else (including PAs, staffing, operations, etc) needs drastic improvement.
God forbid, they ever pick up the phone (front desk and the nurses station), or call you back the same day in a timey manner. I called them 6 times just today and left meesages, now I am likey going to wait day before they ever realize they needed to call back. This is how it's regularly done here because of staffing issues from what I am told.
Also, It's okay to be there on time and wait for half an hr before seeing the doc or PA for 5 mins. But don't you ever be 10 mins late or they won't see you... seriously ludicrous...
These people don't realize they are working with PREGNANT WOMEN with lives growing inside them. Provide a sevice that you would want, that's all!

I am at a complete loss of words with this facility. They told me my first ultrasound would be at ~15 weeks pregnant. This seems like borderline neglect for prenatal care. I am supposed to go an entire first trimester with no ultrasound. For additional context, they informed me that my first visit would be a virtual visit around 9 weeks to "review my history and order labs." A virtual visit at 9 weeks to review history?! Nothing in person to check vitals, weight, bp, etc?? Then 4 weeks after that I would have my first in person appt. So at 13 weeks I come in for my first appt?! Then within the next 4 weeks would be my first ultrasound. This sounds like very negligent prenatal care, I can't imagine a practice operating like this. When I inquired about this procedure I was told that is how they do their scheduling and if I was not happy with that I could seek care elsewhere. I feel bad for the patients in this practice. This is awful patient care.

I’ve been calling this place of business to inquire about becoming a new patient since they opened at 8AM EST. It is now 12:25PM EST and no one has answered, called me back, nor returned my voice message. Highly unacceptable for a healthcare facility!

I unfortunately have had almost all negative experiences with this practice since switching there about a year ago. They have mismanaged my medication prescription multiple times, which resulted in a relapse in symptoms of an infection. It is close to impossible to get a hold of anybody in a reasonable amount of time. I almost always felt rushed when I was in the office, this included prenatal appointments. My most recent issue is being able to get a hold of somebody to pay a fee for a form. It shouldn't take four voice messages for someone to call a patient back. (Still waiting)
