Moved to the area about 4 years ago and bought many things - anywhere from paint, to downspout extenders, rope, river rock, you name it. I love this store. I agree with one review in that their prices are a little higher than the Depot or Lowe's, but it's worth the convenience and the "small town" feel that you get shopping here. The younger "kids" who work there aren't as engaging, but they're usually working the register.

Just a shout out to Action Hardware in Branmar Plaza. I'm no mechanic, electrician, or plumber by trade, but I am a do it yourself person at times.Whenever I need parts for something, they are a very reliable go to. The employees are always willing to help and give advice on what you might need and how to do things. You just can't get that from the big time hardware supply stores! I highly recommend Action Hardware!!!!

Reviewing for my boss who doesn't have a yelp: I went into Action Hardware a few different times and picked up the wrong item. When Bob asked me about what I needed, he took time out of his day to help me find the right item each time. He explained to me how each item worked and always made sure I got everything I needed. He is kind and very, very helpful. I cannot recommend him enough! Go Bob!!
