Went there to buy two things and stupidly left one of the things on the counter after I paid and didn’t realize as I didn’t need the item right away. The woman at the register tracked me down a week later and called me and I was able to go pick it up. So appreciative of the lengths she went to find me!!! A++++ service!

I've been going to Fairfax for many years but it's just not as good since they moved the other day. I wanted and purchased three bags of 50 lb quick drying concrete mix and all three bags or rock solid. I didn't really realize this until I opened it up and we're usually pours out like powder. It was already cement so it contacted Fairfax through their email address on their website. Three different times with no response. All I'm looking for is a refund on the concrete that I purchased but they will not respond so I'm just leaving this review on the website for that reason. Thank you! About a month later and still no contact. The email on their website has not replied to me and no one has replied to this review. I want my money back please

Fairfax Hardware has always been a great Hardware store. Pretty much anything you want or need they have. Also if you need advice or instructions they are knowledgeable and willing to help.

Fairfax Hardware is a refreshing change from big box outlets like Home Depot and Loews. The staff are super helpful. My new mantra is that if Fairfax Hardware doesn’t have it, I probably don’t need it.

Quite a small store but full of inventory and everything very well organized and tidy.Very friendly and helpful staff, they will help you quickly find what you are looking for. This makes the difference with the big chain stores.

Went to get a storm door key made, super helpful associate went through the selection of keys thoroughly to find one that would work and explained the differences between keys. Told me that he was going to do his best to find a match. 10/10 service. Bonus** his guess was spot on all 3 copies worked!

If you have fond memories of a small, local hardware store with a helpful staff that always seemed to have a solution to your household maintenance problems, you can still find that at Fairfax Hardware. They've moved a bit and are now in the north end of the Fairfax Shopping Center near Panera Bread.
