Goodboy Vinyl is an excellent record shop and easily the best record store in the area or New Castle County. It is a little hole in the wall shop with tons of stuff, offering a great selection and a wide array of quality new and used LPs, CDs, cassettes, and some books. Everything is well marked, organized, sorted, and alphabetized with fantastic dollar bins. The store has a very top notch jazz section and carries punk, psych, jazz, funk, dub, hip hop, and rock. The prices are very good, fair, and the best prices around. The owner is awesome, pleasant, knowledgeable, a good guy, nice, and easy going. The staff is also pleasant and knowledgeable; they don’t hover but are ready to answer any questions. It provides a positive atmosphere with tunes and the best record store experience. Customers always walk out with more records than planned, finding something unexpected. It is a great place for vinyl, a great find, and absolutely worth checking out.
I like GoodBoy Vinyl because it is not overwhelming like other record shops. The selection is thoughtfully curated. I can never leave there without spending $100. The people that work there are knowledgeable and nice, never judgmental! Also, Blaine is the man!

I like how the shop is neat and organized with a good variety of genre. However, would love to see more options in the hip-hop section. Nonetheless, they gave a great deal and I am very happy with my purchases.

An excellent shop for finding those albums you’ve looking for. Make sure to check out the dollar bin while you’re there. Found many VG VG+ records that were on my want list. Another plus, the staff is very friendly.
