Have been purchasing estate jewelry and new pieces from Harris’s for forty years now. Beautiful pieces. Never a problem.

My fiance and I are so glad that we went to Harris Jewelers when looking for wedding bands. The selection in the store is the best you will find in the area, and my fiance and I went to several local jewelers. Ron was also very knowledgable and professional and always made sure we were attended to while we were in the store. We will continue to go back to this jeweler.

I have had several repairs done here and that service was fine. Brought in a few older pieces to sell and the man I spoke to was extremely rude and insulted the pieces and their value. He could have just said that he wasn't interested. I wouldn't do business there again.

Went in a few weeks ago to appraise a piece of mens jewelry. The piece I brought was a very limited edition (only 20 ever made and all sold in USA) mens pave sapphire cushion ring. Keep in mind the the jeweler/owner named Mr. Cohen is supposedly a "gemologist". When he saw the ring he just laughed at it and said that it wasn't worth anything and that no one buys David Yurman jewelry anymore. Also, he couldn't tell what type of stones they were and had TO ASK ME. At that point I laughed and knew he had no idea what he was talking about. Went to another local jeweler and the ring appraised for more than 5k.Also, alot of the items in his store don't have any prices on them which is extremely shady since he has to "tell" you the price on the spot. I assume he just makes up the price depending on how interested you are in the piece of jewelry.AVOID this JEWELER at all costs!

Started at Continental jewelers, where I was treated with such disrespect and rudeness that I left- flabbergasted at their lack of customer service. Which brought me Harris, where I was welcomed by attentive and delightful staff, who quickly accommodated my needs. So thankful I found them! Thank you Harris for your service!

We loved coming to Harris to pick out our wedding bands! The selection is stunning! We weren’t rushed and all questions were answered regardless of how stupid they may have sounded. Thank you Harris jewlers for everything

Bought my engagement ring and a diamond tennis bracelet here and regret giving them business. Worst customer service ever. They took 3 diamonds off the tennis bracelet and told me they could make them into a necklace. I paid $60 for the sizing (after they told me it wouldn't cost anything) then another $100+ for the chain for the necklace. After a few weeks THEY CALLED ME AND TOLD ME IT WAS READY FOR PICKUP. I went in to pick it up and no one knew where it was. They took my number, no one ever called. I came back a week later, same story still no clue what happened to it. Gave them my number, no one called. Called them after a few days, they still didn't know anything, took my number again - no one called. Went back a fourth time, still nothing and gave them my number again because they apparently care so little about me they threw it out every time I gave it to them before. Finally they call me and say they have it, and "as a courtesy wouldn't charge me for anything" after I already paid for everything..... didn't get a refund, didn't even really get any sort of apology. Couldn't have left fast enough. Me, my wife, and my family will never go back and I'm done recommending them to my friends who are looking for engagement rings. Flat out terrible.

Staff was attentive. Debbie and co-worker were helpful and helped fixed my grandfathers watch for me. Thank you so much. I hope to come back again soon.

Recently had my engagement ring and wedding band (wrap style) repaired for the 5th time in 20 years. I'm very "hard" on my jewelry (i.e. rarely take my rings off), so the prongs tend to break over time. I'm always amazed with the quality of their work, not only the repairs, but the cleaning they do as well. My rings look brand new, every time! Highly recommend!!

So, I was brought up around the jewelry business. I understand the business, pricing, and repairs. I went in to have a clasp tightened. Easy peasy. Most jewelers do it for free hoping to get repeat business. Some charge $5-$10. It takes less than a minute with the proper tool to fix it. Either way, no worries. However, what happened here was unacceptable. The older, gray haired man took my chain and handled it like it was trash. He told me the clasp was broken and would have to be replaced. For $60. He then kept pushing on the clasp, as if trying to break it, telling me how broken it was. He then yelled, "Where did you get this?". I was caught off guard, and before I could respond, he yelled it again. I felt uncomfortable, and just wanted to leave. I told him I would have to think about it, and he threw my chain on the counter. Disgraceful and unprofessional. Would never return, would never recommend, and would never trust this place. By the way, it took a family member (an honest jeweler) a few seconds to adjust the clasp. And no, Harris Jewelers, the clasp was not broken.

I am shocked and appalled at the unprofessional and shady way this jeweler has treated me . A MONTH ago I dropped a family heirloom ring off to Ron to be sized for me. While I was there dropping it off, I EXPLICITLY asked Ron to NOT touch the prongs, diamonds, or do anything other than size my ring. After a week, I went to pick up this very special ring and it was the wrong size. Things happen, so I left it with them again to correct the mistake. THREE weeks later, Ron informs me that he preplaced 26 prongs on my ring and that it would normally cost me 600 but he would give it back to me for 100. He did not ask me if he could do this to my ring and did exactly what I asked him not to do. After all of this, my ring is STILL the wrong size. Who even knows if Ron put the same antique diamonds back in my ring? This place is dishonest, despicable, and you will not get what you ask for. I am shocked and will NEVER bring any of my jewelry to this establishment again.

Stopped in just to have two watches sized and apparently it was a menial job to them. I guess people forget about secret shoppers and Ill advise him to purchase my engagement ring elsewhere.

Came in one afternoon during the pandemic to get my wedding bank embiggened. The store was closed for the day (I thought they were open until 6), but they let me in anyway to get a quote and drop off the ring. I was expecting it to take 7-10 days, but I got a phone call the next morning that it was ready to pick up. I came by and asked for the damage, only to be told that there was no charge since they were able to do it in house! The ladies were super friendly, and I really appreciated the gesture. I'll try to go back there and spend some dough next time.

I received excellent customer service while looking for a ring for Mother’s Day during covid-19 outbreak. Staff was very friendly, energetic attentive and outgoing. Went to Robins Diamonds in Newark the owner was not any of these things mentioned. I vote Harris Jewelers #1. Thanks

First time visiting any jeweler and the service was GREAT! I'll be coming again.
