Don't buy paint at Lowe's! New return policy is 30 days no exceptions even with a receipt! Be really sure you plan to keep the product, it's only a matter of time till they start screwing you over on other items.

I was interested in purchasing a grill. Only 1 local Lowes store said they had it in stock. Their inventory showed 1. I purchased it online to insure it was not sold to someone else with a pickup date for 2 days later. We received an email the next day that the store inventory was wrong. SURPRISE. I was told I needed to “make a decision” on what I wanted to do, or the order would be canceled
I called the store and spoke to the first person who answered the phone, told them the situation and asked what my options were since I saw no options listed on the email. I was told my only option is to cancel and reorder. I explained I used gift cards, that could not be reused to reorder. I said I just wanted to reorder and was promptly passed to a second person. The second person confirmed the store could do nothing…. say for example order it and contact me when it arrives. Again, I said I just wanted to reorder and was sent to a third person. This person was equally unhelpful and said the only option was for me to cancel and for me to reorder. I was assured not to worry “Corporate would mail me new gift cards”
I saw a chat option in the email that told me my item was not in stock. I decided to try. After 30 minutes I was able to explain to the chat person my concerns and what I wanted to do. FINALLY they told me they would order my grill and have it delivered to the store. Simple right? I was also told to be certain to call the store and inform them I did not want to cancel my item.
I called the store and tried to explain to the first person the arrangements that I made and not to cancel the order. Apparently, all that person could do was repeat the computer says you need to “make a decision”. No understanding of what I was saying. No attempt to resolve my issue. Finally, I said I made a decision, and I am trying to explain It to you. I guess that was overwhelming because I was placed on hold and transferred to the store manager. Finally, someone who could understand, or at least I hoped. He said he would help and put notes all over the order so it doesn’t get canceled, and it would be taken care of
Yesterday we got an email that says the order was canceled. I drive the 20+ miles to the store only to find out yes, the order was canceled. Spoke to a very nice lady who immediately understood my issue and got the manager involved. Ya know the one who wrote all the notes. She came back initially and said they can’t reinstate my order I needed to reorder online. I explained the issue with the gift cards, she went back to the manager, and he acknowledged he wrote the notes, he did what he could, tried everything he knew. But it was canceled anyway. His employees dropped the ball. Even with that he did not offer to reorder at the store. He also assured me corporate will mail me new gift cards. I am not holding my breath. There was nothing more he could do. All I needed to do was go online and reorder.
And I did reorder online……. but this time from Amazon. Same price. Delivered to my house. No 3 + hours of my time. No 45 miles of driving. No worry if something goes wrong. I am done with Lowes. If this is the service, they give for an $800+ purchase when they acknowledge they screwed up I can find a way better options. I strongly encourage everyone skip Lowes. Not my first service issue just the final straw

If I could give a zero star I would that’s how bad it is. Purchased a stove in December before Christmas and was told it would be delivered on January 7. We’ll let me just say that delivery has been pushed back 4 times. Today is February 16 and I was told they would deliver it tomorrow on the 17th now I call and they told me not until the 28th. Every time I have called to find out why we’re in February and I haven’t received it yet they say it’s because the stove has not been received by the warehouse. Today I spoke to an associate that tells me they have had my stove at the store since February 6th. So if that’s the case why are they pushing my delivery back yet again?!! I have never received such awful customer service in my entire life and that’s saying a lot. Will never ever give them my business again.

I have not shopped here for years. Now the store was horrible, being harassed upon entering store watching me like I'm a criminal. Store layout like a jigsaw puzzle.
Now biggest issue was going to the only way Lowe's wants you to check out you have no option to use cash! Before entering self checkout I had a plastic tote I was yelled out to remove the lid even before I got to checkout. Also not to mention the numerous cameras watching every move you make this made me feel uncomfortable. To Lowe's corporate sooner or later your stores will lose a lot of business I will definitely be influencing people not to use your stores and to use Home Depot or other options. Start making changes for the better, get cash option back and better bags that are free.

The staff… super helpful, friendly & knowledgable!
Joe went above and beyond the call of duty.
Walked the store with me to help me with what i needed for my project, great banter & very helpful.
Joe even helped me in departments that weren’t his own & assisted me with some discounts on some of the 50% off items in the back of the store!
Thanks for all the help!

I just felt the need to mention how stellar the costumer service was here. I came in on a busy Sunday trying to find a small, peculiar item. It was incredibly easy to find an employee because they are very well staffed; there were plenty of employees to pick from. While this employee was going out of their way to look for something for us, 2 other employees approached us and asked if we needed help with anything. Customer service has really declined over the last decade and I was just so impressed with how friendly and pro-active everyone was.

I was disappointed today after informing in store customer service about a caulk gun that I purchased had broke. I asked her if I can get a replacement because it’s Kobalt branded. She said it had to be a tool. I said to her that it is a tool. Another woman called a manager and while the reps were talking about Long Horn Steakhouse, I went to look for the manager. Found him, think his name was Don. He came out and scanned it, told me that they don’t carry it anymore and would have to contact Kobalt directly. Seriously? I have exchanged “tools” here before as well as Home Depot’s “husky” branded tools without a question. That’s why I buy Kobalt and Husky to have the convenience to exchange in house. What happened to Lowes? It’s a caulk gun for gods sake. I’ll stick to Home Depot.
*edit* called the number spoke with an associate and he just put in the complaint. The resolution was to either keep the broken caulk gun or just trash it. The issue just fell on deaf ears. Thanks again Lowe’s. Issue was not resolved and another 20 minutes wasted.
