The sales associate (Jeff) was terrific. He was very helpful answering various questions we had about our tropical fish and problems. He also shared with us when shipments arrive so we know when to come back to get what we were looking for (species was sold out).

Went in to get some tank supplies. Found what I needed, BUT about 5 of the betta fish they were selling were near death(floating on there side at the top of the filthy little water dish they keep them in) one was simply dead(upside down not moving at the bottom of the tank). It was obvious which fish had recently arrived and which ones had been there while struggling to survive. I pointed this out to the "fish expert" in this department and she, very rudely, said this is normal behavior for beta fish....NOT true. And they she had just changed all thier water...also NOT true bc there was decaying food pellets at the bottom of their little bowls. Just do minimal research. I have kept several beta fish in an adequate size tank with proper heating, filtration and parameters. They live a long time and are VERY active fish when kept in a healthy environment.NEVER did my betas float at the top of the tank, on there sides, not moving!!!!! I will never go back to this Petco.

Their reptile feed section was awful, I had to hold everything in me to not vomit on the spot. Im going to get worms for my leopard gecko and I open the worm fridge and it’s humid, not cold, and smelled like pure death. Their worms are from OCTOBER. Mind you it’s December 17th. Also their reptiles look like they were left for dead and are severely malnourished. Petco has no care for their animals at all and the place reeks.

If you are looking for a more economical pet care option, then try Petco/Vetco. Half the price with better and more attentive care.

Store definitely needs a refresh/update. It’s dark and feels gloomy every time I stop in, which isn’t that frequently. Finding someone to help you is always a challenge. Even had to wait to checkout today since no one was minding the register. I usually only stop there when the private local store is out of stock on something I need.

I looked for a yard flea spray at petco. The price was 17.99 Petsmart had the same product for 11.99. When I asked about price matching the cashier said they only match Petco prices. When I told him they were Petco, he didn't have a clue. Is stupidity a requirement to work there

The store was clean and associates were very friendly and helpful. Sadly the store did not supply the products we needed. We did buy a shampoo but it wasn't what we were looking for to remedy the problem with our pet.

Today staffs very unprofessional the 2 cat groomer also manager Marissa decline services due I just was asking question in regards to my pet appointment request me to vacate the store with prejudice along contacting state police who done nothing to assist... I already had left the property very rude and disrespectful. I, repeatedly ask for the store manager they just ignored my request for further assistance.

Not to sound like an out of touch Karen, but I probably would go to honestly any other Petco the encounter I had today was interesting. I asked if it would be cool if I pay with two cards was told yes they could even do it in one go unless I need two receipt (which I didn’t hindsight 20/20 should’ve chose that) we get to the second payment it tells me invalid card number, which I’m like OK sure my fat thumbs just hit the wrong button after being told to try it nine times. I’m pretty sure my card froze after the seventh. there was a line behind me. I told the manager who is checking me out if they would want to take care of it, they can. because I hate to be that person that’s when he seem to get annoyed I had to explain to the another worker who was trying to come up with a solution what was going on
